Hello friends, how are you doing, I hope you are always healthy and the activities you do are really fun.
This time I made some pictures of stories about the manufacture of traditional musical instruments in my area, namely "Canang Ceureukeh" know about this musical instrument?
Well, I'll try to tell you a little about musical instruments and their uses, of course there are many and varied traditional musical instruments in this country, it's just that many musical instruments have existed before, maybe before we were born, I hope you like it.
As far as I know, Canang ceureukeh is one of the traditional musical instruments in Aceh that we can say is almost extinct, because this musical instrument is starting to be difficult for us to find. . it's still very lucky that there are still people around so this instrument is still around.
According to history, this musical instrument is played together with players who have the ability to play it, this musical instrument is also played especially before or during the rice harvest season in the fields.
We can say that the appearance of this musical instrument is an overflow of people's sense of joy over the abundant rice harvest, and we can say this activity as a people's entertainment party in the rice fields.
We can see, in terms of shape, this canang ceureukeh which has the characteristics of four wooden blades of the same size and arranged with a support made of wood.
While this canang wood is played by being hit with a tool made of wood so that it produces a distinctive and very loud sound with a different tone on each wooden blade.
In Aceh, there are several Acehnese canang musical instruments with their own and different characteristics, what about the traditional musical instruments in your place...?? Thank you friend.
wow how does it sound om? as it is made fromwoods.

the sound is loud knocking and from the four wooden blades it makes a different sound, thank you for seeing it
