It's another new day to view life beautifully amidst this times.
Sharing you today the "mangrove planting" activity I joined recently with the youth here in our place. Our place is surrounded by islands where some of the residents way of earning income is through fishing and selling what what they have caught. That is why most people here really care about the cleanliness of the sea and of course the seashore. They are very careful of the garbages which should not be thrown near by the sea.
It feels also glad that the youth here are very active in doing worthy activities. It makes me proud also that my cousin being their youth leader becomes very active in leading them. Like street cleaning and other activities which encourages youth participation. They are also kind-heated people who sponsored their advocacy on preserving the nature.
My cousin asked me if I could join them and be one of their sponsors. Of course, I absolutely agreed. It feels so great that sometimes even at this time, we could contribute varied ways of helping and preserving what has been given to us. The youth also were really enjoying the good time spent through mangrove planting. They were very eager to show how much they value the place we live.
So that's how my great day ended. Thank you so much Steem SEA, contest organizers, and to all curators for continually supporting this Part 46th Steem SEA Contest where we can share the wonders of sharing and doing good things not just to other people but also to our own nature.
