If I may get it right, fans are those people who love someone or something to their best or their highest height. They can love such things or such a person to their last breath, except when something comes their way that would make them drop out of the love they had for such things or people.

When you are a fan of someone or something, you will have deep love for that thing just because of the way that thing is to you or that person is to you. As for me, I'm a fan of a football club named Chelsea FC. I told myself that even though they were going down the drain, I would follow them without quitting. I love this club so much that no one or thing can stop the love I have for it. This strongly suggested that I'm a fan of Chelsea FC, undoubtedly.
A celebrity is someone who is widely known for the talent he or she has or who is known for what he or she does to make everyone at their peak. Being a celebrity is not a joke, but one can attain that level if you are doing something that demands that aspect of life.
Back to the talk of the day.
Some fans cross their limit whenever they see the celebrity they cherish, and this would be as a result of the love they have for such a person. I watched P-Square's concert when he was invited to play for an African celebrity. I was shocked but not surprised at the way women were crying while jumping on the stage just to touch the two brothers. This is the level fans can go to when it comes to the one they love.
Most times when your teams are losing, you will get angry and try so much to pour out abuse on those that made you the team or, most times, pour out abuse to the coach.
This does happen to celebrities as well. When they do what the fans do not love, they try to say some words negating the kind of person their celebrities are. This does not mean one would quite be pouring out love for such a celebrity.
When you, as a celebrity, see your fans jumping at you while on a show, you don't need to raise your voice at them; you just need to manage the way they are. Most times, celebrities do get angry with the way their fans hail them or move closer to them. This is not normal, but it is normal if a fan jumps at you. It is not a crime, but most celebrities see it as a crime.
To me, fans acting aggressively whenever they see their best celebrity is normal. It's just because they love such celebrities. One celebrity who was invited to play in a show happened to abuse one of her fans. The fan was jumping onto the stage trying to hail her, but in return, she smashed the microphone on the fan. The fan would feel so bad at that moment, but then she had done the wrong thing. One thing is to be a celebrity, and another thing is to have fans who like the kind of person you are. If you can gather people called fans, then you can tag yourself as popular on Earth.
Fans' behavior needs to be ignored by the celebrities, as they only behave that way just because of the way they feel about such celebrities.
I do agree with you to some extent. However, we've seen over and again that some fans can be very aggressive. Some touch the celebrities inappropriately. Some even try to rip them off their belongings.
I may not be party to a celebrity hurting or letting harm come to a fan, but I believe that fans should respect themselves. These celebrities are people who have anxieties, too.
To be sincere, any fan ripping the one he or she called his or her best celebrity is nothing but a cheat. It shows that that fan only wants something different from the celebrity tagged with the name 'her or his celeb'. We have thieves out there instead of real fans.
