Hello everyone. And a Good evening to you all. I hope you're all doing well. I was going through the topics of different contests throughout the weeks that are being posted. And I stumbled upon this topic from last or maybe two weeks ago. Which was “is ease of access is a blessing”. And I thought maybe I have some opinions about it. And whether or not I did not post it during the contest. Is because I was busy. I was offline for a few days a few weeks back.
So easy access in any aspect of life is a welcome addition. But what it does to the broader society is a different perspective. Usually by ease of access, we would understand the abundance of knowledge, or technology in today's world. Many would label the wealth of the wealthy person as an easy access because they can afford good things and always have a soft landing. But at the same time, money isn't the ultimate wealth. Even though the monetary value does outweigh a lot of things in our world. But I will stick to knowledge for the sake of it. So the abundance of knowledge is a good thing. Because the more you learn, the better a person you become. And since we have more than ever knowledge for us to consume, naturally we are supposed to become better humans. But have we actually achieved that? A very good question. I have two things to talk about here first. The health issue with all the things circulating around us. It has to do with the constant tiredness that we feel all the time. Because there is so much information and knowledge around us comparing to what are ancestors had. And since the volume has increased so much and so little time, our brain has been struggling to cope up with the increased level of information and knowledge that it needs to hold and process. Many scientists believe that it is one of the reasons that we are consistently more tired than our ancestors. So next time when your parents say you're lazy, you actually have an argument. On the other hand, the abundance of knowledge has further benefits and many people have made good use of it. As you can see, the technological space has evolved a huge amount in the past few years. And that is all thanks to the knowledge of our ancestors and the knowledge we dig up from the world because believe it or not everything is out there. You just have to synthesize it, from it in a format to understand. And due to this increased accessibility, everyone around the world can know a lot more about these technological marvels that ever before.
And that kid who was struggling in a distant part of the world, now probably has access to some of the finest educational content and knowledge of the world that he can actually do something for himself. And I believe that is a win. That's just one example but yeah, the easy access of knowledge will always be the difference between humanity going forward and humanity pushing itself towards decay.

I think our knowledge is far better than our ancestors, and we are much smarter compared to them. I think in the case of IQ, they may beat us only, but only having a high IQ doesn't make them better than us. In my eyes, our ancestors were like a pond, and we are like an ocean when it comes to knowledge.
At the same time it becomes hard to navigate an ocean compared to a pond.
