Hey everyone, how's life? How are you feeling about the market? Quite the hit huh? All these tariffs and trade wars are now spilling over to our cryptocurrencies as well. Now, as of the writing of this post, things have begun to change after Trump passed out a 90-day waiting period on all tariffs on all countries. But those tariffs are going to come sooner or later. So, what's the situation currently? And most importantly, how will America's biggest ally Europe react to all this, especially when Trump is always saying that he wants to leave NATO. And I must say Europe is quite far behind.
So NATO was initially founded so that Europe and the USA could deter Russia's expansion. But many decades later now NATO has been falling apart. That is because NATO member countries of the European section aren't spending as much as they were verbally promised to spend in their military budget. So America wants out. And with the current state of all the tariffs and these threats, this might be a very good time for Europe to become more self-sufficient than they are. Military prowess then Europe is nowhere near America. But if the continent is collective and a country can specialize in a certain industry then the grand total can be at least enough to match Russia so Europe can stay safe on their own without needing America's help all the time. Currently, there are a lot of soldiers in Europe who are an important part of USA's control on Europe along with all the American technologies such as fighter jets, radar technologies, satellite imaging and artillery. All these things have Europe's hands tied to America's tune. And this is most evident when it comes to technology. We know for a fact and it is already out there on the internet that most of Europe uses American Tech for all their IT works such as Microsoft cloud services and AWS among other things and these tech companies answer only to the United States government if they have to. And there is a law in America that when called upon, these tech companies are to give up all their data. Regardless of where it is stored within America or overseas, I believe you're already getting the point. Now America can actually access all the files and emails and documents of all the European governments and businesses which use these us-based tech companies' software solutions. And I believe that is the biggest choke point that Europe is strangled by. It is even bigger than mentary.
I personally believe that even though Europe is already working on its self-independence from America by ramping up the military production and working towards a more environment-friendly and fossil fuel independent energy system, it should also emphasize on building out their own it services and tech companies that can provide similar solutions to the technological needs of all European governments. And that they should be regulated only by the central European body and nobody else. Because just imagine a whole continent is within America's control in terms of their data security. That is really wild.
