Hello everyone, how are you all doing? I hope it's all well and good. I wanted to talk about the type of content I watch. We all use all kinds of apps and services these days. Them being social media and other streaming services for content consumption. So I want us to talk about what people actually watch, or what I watch. In the scarce free time that I get. Now right out of the gate, I wanted to say that I do not own any subscriptions of the major streaming services such as Netflix, HBO or Amazon Prime or any of those. I live in a third world country and I use an Android and torrenting is allowed in my country because my government probably doesn't even know what torrenting is. So yeah I still get all the content and those people watch with their money for free. And no, that's not a brag. Well it is bad and discouraged. I myself discourage this. Because watching paid content without paying is basically taking away money from the creator.
So coming back to things that I watch. I would like to say that I'm not that much proud, but I do not watch any of those social media content that most people gorge on. Or any of the day-to-day vlogs people watching YouTube of other creators or random videos or anything. Actually the only thing that I regularly watch is documentaries. And I must say, YouTube is a treasure trove of a lot of documentaries by some brilliant content creators. The production quality of these videos are astonishingly high. Sometimes they even look on par with those big butts of documentaries or movies or TV shows. And it makes me wonder how they do all that and still release this content for free? But nonetheless, I am very much invested into those documentaries. You might know by now that I am very much into international geopolitics and technology and a lot of other stuff that I might not have put up on my profile but I'm into them. And all that comes from YouTube. Me watching documentaries all the time instead of actually consuming content for entertainment has gotten me a lot of information. I'm no expert in any certain field, but these things have brought me immense service knowledge on so many things that I could probably talk about a lot of things for quite a while. I even learned a lot about cryptocurrency from these documentaries as well.
Apart from watching documentaries like a nerd, I also watch different movies and TV shows. TV shows especially things that include crime or something related to finance or technology or some of the famous ones. Same goes for movies as well. I also have a soft spot for the legendary movies from the previous century. I really like to know what you guys watch and what keeps you ticking.
