The World's Most Famous Game is Not Beyond Risks

Hello everyone. Good evening to you all. So my contact support. We understand much of the sports that are around us and their physicality. In particular, I would like to talk about football. I really hope none of you call it soccer. But regardless of what you call it, it is a widely accepted fact that football is a very dangerous game. Regardless of how the athletes entertain us on the pitch. I must say these contacts in the game have decreased a lot. Back in the day or if we look at older football clips we will see that the players are being pulled down and held back, to eventually be stopped from the attack.

There is a rather famous type of injury in the football world. That is called the ruptured Achilles. This is mostly in the Achilles tendon area of our leg. So recently, these ACL injuries are rising. More and more players are suffering from ACL. There are other different types of injuries, but this is one of the most prominent ones. Now what is the football governing body doing in order to stop these ruthless tackles and make football a safer game to play for anyone of any age? The governing body is introducing new rules regarding penalties. That should put a threshold on how much freedom do players get while tackling without sacrificing a card. Plus there was a different type of problem in football regarding injuries. That is simply the number of matches. This year the number of games a European football team has to play has risen quite a lot. So these extra hours should be put into the same legs they use to entertain us everyday. But these excessive workloads make them vulnerable and that's why they get injured very easily.

While making players more prone to injuries, The authorities of football are indeed making a lot of money. When it comes to actually making injuries less of a possibility, there's not much else that can be done, apart from a healthy schedule which guarantees a player's rest. On field tackles can't be regulated of course. But the governing body should push for easier fixtures around the year and also push for innovation in wearables that are light and do not hinder movement. While also ensuring better protection from incoming tackles. This post was initially planned as participation of Weekly Contest 140 Edition 1, but I ended up late.
