Freedom to do as we want does not mean that I can just do anything no matter how bad it is. I don't think that this is included in my freedom. I heard someone say sometimes ago that your freedom ends where another's freedom begins. If I have the right to talk, should I then open my mouth and begin to say rubbish concerning someone else? That is the question we need to look at. Our freedom have some limits.
Okay, friends for this last edition for this week we have a great topic and I believe that we are all learning. My own contribution to the given topic may not suit what someone else may believe or say. But I believe that we are all entitled to our own opinions and we must also be held responsible for what we do or say. Yes, someone may say that because we have freedom, we just go ahead and do as we like without considering the other person that may be affected. What is freedom if I may ask? Does it mean that we should just do what we want or do anything that comes to our minds without thinking of the consequences. I want to sincerely say that we have freedom, no doubt. But we can't use it as we want.
The first question is - Are we truely free? I believe so. And so it is. We are free indeed. Not the type of freedom that will put us into trouble. If we are not free, then we can't move around, eat what we want, visit who we want, drink what we want. All these shows that we are a free people. Is only someone who is free that can do all of these things mentioned above.
Secondly, Why can't we do anything we like and when we want it done? This is another wise question. Should I just carry a gun and pull the trigger at anyone just because I am free to buy a gun? Is this okay? No. It is not. The next person's life is very important to the society if I think that is not important to me. Alot of people might be depending on that life. If I waste that life all because of my freedom to do what I want, then I have created alot of problems for the people hanging on that life.
Another way to illustrate this a driver who drives anyhow he wishes and don't want to listen to people even when they see him drive anyhow. He goes on to destroy lives on the way and says is the devil. When did the devil come into the car and destroy lives? But it was all cost because of his freedom to do what he wants to do with the car he bought with his own money. So, what is the freedom when I can't use it to save lives instead destroy them.
So, after everything I have said, are we still free? Yes we are a free people. Freedom does not mean to end the lives of others, but to help build others to become great in life. That is what freedom means to me. Infact I love the fact that we can't do things the way we like, because it has helped us live right. We need to be controlled or else we will have ourselves to be blamed.

It will be a zoo zone when we just stand to do things we wish to without considerations. As sane people there should be a limit to what we do as such shouldn't led us to trouble and we stand to blame the devil. There are cases that even the devil himself will say, this one no be me send you ooo.

From your perspective I can agree with you that our definition of freedom depends on us, we are free if we truly abide by the rules and regulations that govern us but anything that makes us too sly from the rules then freedom is away from us, for example, a person who kills another person, such person will be denied of freedom till he is killed as well
That is very true. Consider others when using your freedom and make sure you are not breaking anylaw.
