I hope you all are doing fine. It's Sunday today and we have another edition of creative sunday on hive platform. As i am going to step into practical life after sometime so i decided to make memes on something related to it which could be relatable too. Freelancing is something where today's generation is falling a lot and i am sure many of you will be enjoying these memes too.

I have been doing freelancing in the earlier days of my university but then gave up as my studies and coursework didn't allowed. I was so greedy at that moment and i completely destroyed my schedule in order to take as much orders as possible. I remember my friends making jokes on me as i was behaving like a kid who gets a new toy and keeps playing with it.
The most disturbing things for a freelancer could be the guidelines and specifications about an order. Sometimes we think that an order is really easy to complete but the details attached with it makes it worse to complete. I myself had to decline many orders just because the specifications were out of my understanding. Let's suppose you see an order to translate an article, how simple and easy? But the further details attached to it suck.
The most alarming situation or i might say the horrible period of time was when it was time for the client to send me the money. That platform didn't have any certain method of payment exchange and we were totally dependent on the client. I used to keep praying after completing an order and then delivering it to the client. There were good people who used to send the money before receiving the order but there were those who always came up with send us first and we will check the quality, and the payment will be sent accordingly.
Sometimes there were orders with a few days of time and i used to take them for guaranteed. I never completed them on time and always rushed for my laptop one day before the actual time. That night used to be the most horrible night for me as i had to spend the whole night drinking strong coffees and hitting my keyboard.
What was the reason that i had to choose a less known platform and not fiver or upwork, it's actually a harsh reality in our area that these platforms are occupied by big crocodiles and a newbie without some strong references hasn't any chances of success. That's why our young generation has to first find someone who can support them there and only then they go for these two or else they also find some which are less known and visibility could be easy over there.

Freelancing is not easy without credentials
Trust me, people nowadays preferer just the rating and past work performance. Making things for new comer 100 times more difficult. Plus the competitive pricing is there to kill the new competition early on.
But keep fighting, because that's all you can do for now.
