RE: The Quest For Knowledge...

in Hive Learners13 days ago

The thing I run into while searching for answers online is that I often have to sift through so much garbage before discovering part of an answer. most of the time it is the full answer though.

Libraries are still a repository of knowledge that offer information for those seeking it, among other responsibilities in a community, and I don't think they should ever be discounted or phased out of existence.

Books are often just straight to the point on a subject, otherwise they probably wouldn't have been published, and I am amazed at the knowledge held within a bookshelf that could enlighten the reader if they just opened the book.

Technology has indeed given many a short attention span due to the applications and services often being made to trigger the 'happy/feel good' portions of the brain and sort of 'molding' the brain to only receive through that method.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It was a good read and brought up interesting points about previous ventures for knowledge to more modern methods of obtaining information.

Still, you can't even be sure that the info you're getting online is accurate. Just about any one can post anything online, however, you needed to get to a certain level in your craft for you to be able to publish book on it.
while making things easy, technology has also made them kid of worse. We just have to find a way to get back to how things used to be. hats what's very important now.
