Hey Arnold! is a classic Nickelodeon animated series that aired from 1996 to 2004. One of the interesting features of the series is its relatable and realistic depiction of urban life. It is set in the city, and it tackles real-world issues like poverty, bullying, and family struggles in a way that kids can understand and relate to. The characters are diverse and multi-dimensional, such as Arnold who is football-headed, wise beyond his years, and dealing with the ills of life in a city setting through his relationships with Gerald, Helga, and Harold.
Another aspect of the series is its use of humor and satire to comment on social issues. The show's creator, Craig Bartlett, is also a great writer who can bring some pretty hard-hitting material to a place where it is both funny and thought-provoking. In addition to the writing, the visual style of the series is pretty unique with its characters and backgrounds that are both stylized and grounded in reality. It is funny, with a heart, and very realistic-so much so that it is a favorite among kids and adults. The show is still, to this day, considered a classic of 90s animation.
The steps I follow to draw the character are given below.👇🏻
I started making hair and face outline of my character. I also draw a cap in between his hairs.
Then, I draw his eyes nose and smart face smile. After it I draw arms, hands and his shirt.
Then, I draw his shorts, legs and boots.
After it I draw a black pointer outline on character.
Completing all my pencil work, I start coloring the character. First I color his hairs yellow and added skin color in face, arms and legs.
Then, I added blue color in shirt and in strips.
In last step I added yellow lines and red color in his trouser. Brown color in boots and blue color in his cap.
