hey, chicken feed is not expensive. home grown chickens can be fed kitchen scraps and the rest of their feed can be grown near or beside the coup so it's not such a bad experiment to try. you also gain from all of this extra effort in the end 🤭 but I wanna make pretty green yolk and weird blue yolk. i feel like blue would be hard since it's such a high frequency color already and there's not a lot of naturally occurring blue foods
