This is so true. Every society with its own unique challenges. An average Nigerian doesn't have up to a million naira in their account, but its funny that's what people pay monthly over there.

They did a survey of Canadians and less than half of Canadians could find $200 (60,000 Naira) for an emergency. Many things are expensive here and many people have very little in reserve for emergencies.
From what I hear that statement rings true in many places, not just Canada.

Is sending messages through Hive a thing? Sounds interesting. I always use Ecency frontend, I've not seen that option.

Oh! Okay! Dropping a message with the transfer Memo! Not bad! But dug further, and it seems you can do more proper messaging via PeakD
I'm sure there are better ways to send messages because the memo key we have will actually allow to sending encrypted messages through the blockchain. No idea how that works though. I like the idea of sending a token sum with a side message. Make getting an 'email' more rewarding.
Just imagine if all your spam gave you hive. Spam wouldn't be such a bad thing then :)
