I want to share with you how I got my first earning, it all happened in the year 2019 where this covid 19 crisis started. I'm a type that I love it when I see someone plaiting hair for people and making them beautiful but I don't like to learn from them. You ask why right? I'm a lazy type 😑 I don't want a case someone will be sending me on errands from place to another instead of learning. So I started to learn alone and try to know how to make hair by myself without learning from anyone. My mom supported me and I use her hair for practice to become more better and perfect. At times, I bribe my siblings too, so that I can also use theirs to practice.

So one day, one of our neighbor want to make her hair. She is a type that she doesn't make her hair around, she has her own personal hair stylist but because of the pandemic that period her stylist can't come to her house neither can she go to her house. My mom then told her I was good at making hair and she even showed her the hair I helped her to make the last time, the woman doubted if I can actually make the hair she wanted. But my mom convinced her that day, that if I did not do it well that she should loose it. I don't know why my mom trusted me that much, because I myself I was thinking it won't be perfect but she told me I should do my best. I only love to make hair for my mom and my siblings but making hair for any other person I have never done it and this make me scared and uncomfortable.

After the agreement between my mom and my neighbor, she came to meet me immediately that I should go to her house to make her hair. I was a little but furious and asked her why she will tell someone I make hair when I'm not yet sure even if I'm perfect. But my mom reassure me that I can do it and make it perfect. When I got there, she asked different type of questions, when did I learn how to make hair?, Who taught me? What year did I graduated? When did I start? These questions made me uncomfortable because truly I did not learn from anyone and I don't think I will do it well. After spending some hours in her place, i was finally done with her hair though it wasn't a easy job. It was then I realized hair stylist work, I did my best and I leave the rest, I went back home that day looking tired and very hungry.

The next morning, she came to our apartment and told my mom she loved the hair that she did not expect I will make it perfect the way she will like it, and after the compliment she gave my mom #3000(7.2 dollars) that for my first trial that I just manage it. When I woke up I realize all my body was aching me, I told my mom about it and she said I should take paracetamol(that's only what she knows). After then she gave the money, and explained everything she said. I was so delighted that she love it and I was also happy I was given some money for the hair I plaited for her. After then, I went to appreciate and decided to put more effort in making hair.😉
