A lot goes into being a creative. While you can have all the ideas in your head, it requires a different kind of drive to be able to get off your ass and actually bring those ideas to life. I know many people who have fabulous ideas, ideas that I know are great and the only thing missing is… nothing. The ideas are still locked in their brains!
For some reason, they’re just being slow in executing the things that they want. They know exactly what it is, they have a blueprint and have a rough idea of what everything is going to entail. However, they don’t give themselves the push that they need. They simply allow the idea to lie fallow in their heads until they lose the drive.
Later on, they’d realize that others are making money from the very same idea and by then, it might be too late because so many people are probably doing it already. However, that would still not sway them. They would still be hesitant in going after what they know that they want. They’ll be procrastinating and dragging their feet, giving all forms of reasons why they can’t do something they know that they want.
It’s sad, really. But this is how dreams are destroyed and this is how lives become stagnant. Everyone has a dream, we all have an idea of what we want to be, and we have everything we need to make it work. And in this day and age, where a smartphone can allow you to do just about anything that you want to be. Hell, if you wanted to become an astronaut, I’m sure there’s an online course for that that you’d study for six months and get certified. Hehe… just joking! But you get my drift.
What I’m saying is that this period of our lives is literally one of the worst times to give up! Every day, we come online and we see numerous stories of how people were able to change their lives simply because they took charge of their phones and decided to turn them into assets instead of liabilities. We’ve heard of humble beginnings and how a lucky break changed everything for them and their lives have never been the same since then.
Thankfully, we’re young enough to still make mistakes and pass it off as youthful exuberance. If you feel you could have a future in skitmaking, then why don’t you try it? It could even be as a faceless creator on social media, it won’t stop you from raking in your money. You just have to be willing to put in the work and not give up.
Today, there are many skitmakers that I don’t resonate with. I don’t watch their comedies because I don’t find them funny. I even wonder how people find them funny. But then, other people do enjoy their content and as a result, those people keep them in business. No matter how weird and different you are, there will always be someone out there who will shake things up for you. There will always be someone in the audience who will love your content. Those are the people who will keep you in business. They’re the ones you’ll keep making content for.
But then, all in all, it’s all up to us, as I said earlier. I know that content creation is not easy. Wracking your brain up for what to put out there is not easy, but in the long run, getting the validation that you’re after will make it all worthwhile. Earning from your creation will make it all worthwhile. But for now, you shouldn’t be in the game of giving up. You need to put in more effort and ensure that you do everything that you can towards achieving your goal.
I’m sure that it’ll all work out for us all in the end.

Sometimes, the temptations to give up is always high especially when everything around seems discouraging but like you said staying idle is even worst because that moment one spends in idleness, another is using it to build himself and with time, those who failed to try would discover that others are doing same thing and are progressing while they are there in one spot.
We have so many advantages in this our era to fade, there are many opportunities on social media to change our lives but it depends on us. If we pursue our dreams regardless the lack of results, with time we would be among the winning team. No one got to the top overnight.
As in ehn... this is why we must always be up and doing. When we look at the grand scheme of things, we really don't have an excuse. We have to go after what we want, regardless of whatever it is that we're scared of. Or if it's all just laziness. We must all remember that.

It is important to get started on those plans, those dreams by all means. Even if it means having an accountability partner or friend with whom you can push yourselves.

I think most of us have the idea but because of our hesitant nature we lose most of the ideas. I think we need to brave enough to make it in reality. I think our fear is the main problem in content creation. If we can start, then other thing will be easier for us because first step is always harder.
Yeah... the first step is the hardest, but once we take that one step, it gets easier with time.
