From My Boring Playlist🤐

Hello everyone, how are you doing today? The week has fully started and we are off in full groove. I look forward to what promises to be a highly fulfilling week for every one of us.

So, today I will also be making a post on the topic of the day, which is My Favorite Music.

Music is a part of me. My love for good music can never be understated. And you know why? Music is immortal and ageless, no matter how long it has been in existence. The artistes may grow old and die, but their works will remain forever fresh in your memory and when you listen to them, you will be taken back to the first time you heard them.

And when I listen, I can do it with either headphones, earpods, or speakers. I love getting to hear all the sounds and bass, the music has to offer, and unfortunately, phone and laptop speakers cannot deliver on such.

As for me, I am not very selective when it comes to music. I am not really a fan of any artiste, but I do love music. For me, as long as the music is really good and can make me get lost in it, I am down for it.

If you take a trip through my playlist, you will see someone who truly embraces all kinds of music. You will find gospel songs, hip-hop (both local and foreign), high life, blues, and Fuji. You will even find movie soundtracks (like The Pirates of the Caribbean, The Flash, Arrow, and a lot of Korean shows). When I listen to music, I do not need to know the language to get the message. I let the beat and the instrumentals do the talking for me.

And so, seeing how vast my favorite music is, I will tell you three songs that will always resonate with me no matter how much time has passed.

1. 69 by Praiz ft Burna Boy and Ikechukwu

This song is a romantic one, some can even call it erotic due to its lyrics. The artiste really did a great job on this. The first time I heard it, I could not believe it was a Nigerian that sang the song until Burna’s voice came on.
I love the song because it can be used to give a place a romantic feel. The lyrics and the beat will just suck you in and before you know it, you have put the song on repeat.

2. Just Go by Lionel Richie ft Akon

This is another timeless song that always resonates with me. This is a song I enjoy listening to when I want to think, or I simply want to daydream. I can’t really remember the first time I heard the song but I am pretty certain I have known it for quite some time, a long time in fact.
And Lionel Richie is one of my favorite artistes, his music always has a message to pass across and my ears are always there to catch them. The song just gives me a different feeling each time I listen to it anew.
What a masterpiece.

3. Give It To Me Now by D’Prince ft. D’Banj

Honestly, I have no idea why I love this song so much. But Boomplay and Youtube have collectively finished my data because of this particular music. This is the song I listen to when I don’t want to think at all, I just want to relax and shake my body a little.
When I do not want to get a message, or I don’t want to feel lovesick, I put this one on. The beat is fast-paced and it has a club feel to it. Any time I hear the opening sound, I will just want to jump to my feet and begin to dance.
I have no idea how long exactly I will love this song, but I do know for sure that it is not for any time soon.

Note that these are not just my favorite artistes, I also listen to lots of Celine Dion, Maroon 5, Davido, Teni, Naira Marley, Fela, Dr. Sir warrior, and the list goes on and on. I just pick my songs based on my mood and how I want to feel. The song will either immerse me further into my present state or pull me out of it. I have a way of getting lost in the music.

I hope these favorite songs of mine do justice to the topic. And in time, as I get older and more songs get released, I might fall in love with some other songs and maybe get some new favorites. But no one knows that for now. Till that happy day, we will see how everything goes.

Thank you very much for reading, till we meet in the next post.

I also feel the same way, the older I get and the more advanced the country, the more new songs that come out, of course, with more modern music. but for me the memories of each song still can't be forgotten

They can't be forgotten, and when they are played again especially after a long time, we feel a sense of nostalgia.
Very sweet feeling😋
Thank you for reading.

Same here oo, there this realm I normally found myself each time I listen to musics with these gadgets. Infact music is life, I love it.

Thanks for sharing with us guy.

When you block your ears and fill up your head with only the music, you won't even know if you are singing along or dancing, it won't matter if your voice is horrible or you are making noise. All that matters is the song and that is it.

Lionel Richie has been my favorite artist. He has passion for music and with the way he sings, he made everyone feel the silence in the realm of music.

Well-done or these lovely songs you have selected.

Whoever loves Lionel Richie will always be a friend of mine. That man's music is just out of this world and never gets old.
