On my end, I know a number of families that run checkups regularly. Even when the kids grew up and went on to universities, they still did their check-ups there.
One thing I've learned about all these things is that, they're very important and by luck, they may not be as expensive as you're scared they'll be.

I think health checkup is very necessary but cost must be reduced in my country. In my country, naturally who need medical fitness report for particular job or for going abroad take the full body checkup as they are forced to do so.
