During the time of sickness, I have never been taken to a hospital because my mum is very good at preparing herbs so it is either she prepares herbs for me or she calls a nurse that will treat me at home...
So I took a lot of injections and I started to love it, I would prefer injections to drugs any day because those drugs make me feel like vomiting, I can't even use two drugs at the same time, it is either I take them one by one or put the drugs inside Eba or any other swallow and use it to take the drugs...
When I was no longer under the care of my parents, whenever I fell sick, I had a nurse I used to call who treated me at home, and within a few days I would be fine but when I relocated to this new area, something changed!.
I fell sick in 2024 and it started gradually, at first I thought it was usual malaria so I went to the pharmacy to get malaria drugs, yea If self-medication was a crime then I am guilty... I took the malaria drugs and I was fine for a few days only for it to become worse, my body temperature was so hot and I was weak, I had to call on another nurse nearby to treat me but she did a very bad job... She did not run any tests on me, she just assumed I was having malaria too and gave me 6 injections in a day and also passed a drip into my body on that same day, she was like the one sent to end my life but God was bigger than her... I survived it and I got better again for a week only for the sickness to start again.

It was getting beyond my power so I called my sister and explained to her and she told me to go and run a test first so I could know exactly what was wrong with me which I did and that was where it was discovered that It was typhoid I am battling with and drugs were prescribed for me but the drugs didn't work again until I called quduus1 to bring typhoid herbs for me which work like magic because within few days of using it, I was strong and healthy again so since then, I don't believe in modern drugs again.
I found a lady who sells herbs in my area now so anytime I feel sick, I would just go to her and buy malaria and typhoid herbs from her which works great and I have been dependent on that since last year.
Going to the hospital is not the problem but the fear of the bills, the nurse who came to treat me at home collected 20,000 Naira which was too much but a dying person does not have the strength and time to negotiate, I believe going to the hospital would have cost me more whereas the herbs that quduus1 brought was not even up to 1000 Naira.
Based on what I have written so far, you can deduce that I do not go for medical check-ups, I do not see the need for it but to top it all, I do not want them to keep telling me to run unnecessary tests just so their daily earnings can be completed.

Most times I really love to take drugs or herbs when I feel sick cus it's very effective. But when we do check-ups they help us get to know any issues faster. Take care of yourself bro.

I became sick in rare cases and I didn't practice self medication. I think for simple issues I support it but for some kind of disease, I never recommend it because one time mistake can cost your life and all the assets you want to save may not be able to help you in that case.

Many people are going that route nowadays. I think apart from exceptional cases, modern drugs are quite overrated in terms of their effectiveness in curing illnesses. Besides, the health system's job isn't really to keep us healthy, quite the opposite I'll say lol.
they only give us drugs to stay alive and come back for more... if they provide a permanent cure then they would be useless
