The level of reasoning people do with their heart this days makes me wonder if they truly think with their head and brain intact. Someone offered accommodation for you and you want to kill her and take her place and her boyfriend?
Did she ask herself if she will appealing to the boyfriend or the boyfriend was sit and enjoy the drama without questioning her loyalty?
