If you have never been to Nigeria but you have it in your list to do so,be prepared for emotional trauma, alot is to be prepared for. One of it is Land pollution. Land pollution in Nigeria has become a rigid that has failed to work out with different measure, government has struggled to eradicate but all to abortive. What is the causes of this pollution? There are different issues behind this and it all started from the citizens. I think the privileged of owning a land to build a house of one choice is being misused by the citizen.
Most Landlords in Nigeria only focused on how to build three different buildings on a half plot of land, they don't care about how water runs out. Many house's without gutter ( a channel at the edge of the road that makes water flow ), how do they expect rainfall should flow ,even if there is no particles in that rainfall,the water won't flow . Government too construct roads without proper gutter even when they said they did gutter.
Greediness in people, most Landlords won't even have compound to walk around not to talk of gutter , they are just after the money they make. How many community, area, neighborhood do government go and fix gutters, it is not possible. In that way the only solution is the cooperation of the citizens and government where each landlord thats do not have gutter do their duty while the government face the gutters of the main road.

The second highlight here is disposal of waste bin, many years ago, there is this body provided by government (LASTMA) this body was established to go from door to door to take their water bin free of charge for a neat Nigeria but suddenly after few years ,we were asked to start paying this bodies for our waste ,it was not like how worse it is now. The funny part is that even after collecting this money ,they don't even visit the neighborhood anymore. People now finds stagnant water that was caused by lack of gutter and tag it a place of waste bin.
There was even a time when a disposable pack we use was banned ,due to its is very cheap and easy to use but it was noticed that it's common to see it wherever there is a stagnant water, meaning it causes water not to flow but that is not the solution, is it only disposable? Many particles comes together. What they are supposed to do ,they didn't do it, since they have stop the usage of that disposable,has this problem been solved? No. Everywhere now get messed up, whenever it rained,it is always not pleased with me to go out and get something, everywhere will be so irritating and disgusting.

Malaria drugs becomes paractemol we take everyday due to mosquitoes bites ,there is no how careful you can be to avoid mosquitoes due to the polluted lands. I hope Nigeria can be better again, May the Act of greediness that has filled everyone be turned into generosity and kindness.
We never learn. We just keep creating problems for ourselves. We'd complain of mosquitoes, and yet we throw in waste in the gutters, causing stagnant water and giving the insects a place to breed. I don't know how best we can be taught and spoken to before we do right four our own sakes.
