Don't stay it will never get better

I see people who stay in a toxic relationship as people who lack love from where they're coming from. Some people have endured abuse because they were never shown love even from their parents so any little love someone else gives to them they hold it so dear to their heart and even when they are abused they even blame themselves for being abused, they believe they must have caused what makes the person to change and behave the way the person behaves towards them.

While some people stay in a toxic relationship because of finances. There have been stories like after I trained her in school she left me to go and marry someone else. Have we ever wondered about the kind of abuse, insults, emotional & physical trauma the person must have received and endured just to get what they want from the abusers.

When I was in school, I had this friend who always came to school with a swollen face, and each time she wore heavy makeup or glasses or face caps, you think she was a lover of all these things, but she didn't love them. At first, I didn't notice. I thought she just loved makeup and face caps, and maybe she's not proud of herself. That's why she's always wearing them.

Now, one of these days, she wasn't wearing makeup. She was just wearing glasses and caps, so I had to remove the cap from her head and run off. She didn't chase me; she just hid herself somewhere. I went back to her, and that was when I saw that she had a scar on her head, and the side of her forehead was swollen.

I asked what had happened, and she started explaining; when she was done explaining to me. It turns out that this guy is the one training her in school, and he beats her at every slightest mistake. Although she came from a very poor background and wanted to be a graduate by all means, she told me that's why she's enduring the things the guy is doing to her.

What if this guy beats you one day, and you never wake up again? Will you finish school? Will you be able to call yourself a graduate then? So, I advised her to gather money and start up a business that could help her finish school, but she should leave this guy, or she might never come out alive.

She finally came out of the relationship, Thank god she listened, and today she's doing marvelously well with a good man. The truth is that today, the guy is in jail because he actually beat someone else, but the person didn't survive it, so he is still chilling in jail.

I think there should be an awareness for people who are in toxic relationships, whether male or female because it's not only females who are always in toxic relationships or toxic marriages. This awareness should be headed by people who have been in such situations, help to teach them, what self-love is all about, teach them how to do small business for those that finances is their problem, try to raise their self-esteem again.

People need to educate themselves about this and expose abuses so they can have guidance and know what to do. Many people are in toxic relationships because they have a great dependence on that person, so they free themselves from those bad moments.

If they are educated there should be something that will help them start afresh like money or handwork, for those willing to come out

Keep up the good work! 👏
