Deja vu

Either it's true or not.. I know what I felt and my reaction that moment, just yesterday on my way back to my apartment after a very long and stressful 7 hours lecture in school... I was willing to spend every single penny I had on me to take a cab back home because I was so exhausted, I didn't even want to walk or take any stroll, all I just envision was my bed and how I wanted to rest after getting something to eat.

But either way, I still needed to walk out of the college premises to get a cab which was like a 10-15 walk, so I called some of my colleague that we move move together and our journey back home started before get to the college, I saw a man running into the diabetes clinic and I felt I have seen this scene before somehow and somewhere, I couldn't remember how or where it happened but I was sure I had a flashback about him running into the clinic before on the same clothes and same movement. I called my colleagues walking with me and told them I have seen the man running in the diabetes clinic before on the same cloth and he also ran too, some of them assumed I was joking and some look confused will I was trying to prove it.

After a well, we changed the topic and walk straight to where we were to take a cab, on getting there, one of my colleague talk me I might just have experience something called DEJA VU.
Yeah... I have alway heard of it but I never knew what it entails and what it exactly means or what it stands for.

I was puzzled about what I felt, it was like I had a vision about the future just by walking, getting to my hostel.. I'm not even going to lie, I first had to devour a very large sum of noodles then rest and have a short nap because I was seriously tired. Then few minutes after I wake up from my nap, I got trigger by that feeling again and I knew I needed to make some research about it and what it means.

This is what I got from my research:
Déjà vu is the sensation of having already experienced a situation or circumstances that is happening for the first time. It occurs due to a mismatch in the brain's memory systems(neurological system). When the brain processes new information, it occasionally misfires creating a false sense of familiarity by mistakenly associating the current situation with a stored memory. It was said that the brain processes information through two pathway which one conscious and one subconscious neurologically. If the subconscious pathway processes the information slightly faster than the conscious one, the conscious mind interprets the delayed information as familiar, creating the feeling of déjà vu. Hmm strange right.

I went further in to research and discovered that Déjà vu is a fascinating psychological phenomenon that occurs when a person feels an overwhelming sense of familiarity with a situation, dream, scenario even though they know it shouldn't be familiar or similar. When connected to dreams and memories, déjà vu becomes even more intriguing(enigma) . In most cases when
current situation resembles a past dream that has been forgotten or only partially remembered.

Getting all this info... I know for sure I have never seen that man before but based on the theory , it's possible I had seen someone similar or familiar to him. Yeah I know most or some individual might not believe it happens and some might believe it does but still I know what I experience and how intriguing it felt at that more. It wasn't really said on how to stop deja Vu or maybe it has a side effects in human life but all I can say is it real and I had an experience of it yesterday.

Well, I have had some moments like that too and they feel very real..
It is quite an intriguing phenomenon!.
your findings also have made it make sense already and I'll love to keep researching about this.

It truly is fascinating how vivid and real these moments can feel. Thank you for sharing your experience man

Yeah, this happens to me a lot too. I call it vision though, because I can almost predict what happens next. Nice research.
