Ingredients:
1 small cabbage, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
3-4 green chilies, finely chopped
2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Instructions:
Start by chopping the cabbage, onion, green chilies, and tomatoes.
In a pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions to the hot oil and sauté until they turn light golden brown.
Stir in the turmeric powder and immediately add the chopped cabbage. Mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Toss in the chopped green chilies and continue stirring for another minute.
Now, add the chopped tomatoes and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes until they soften. Then, add salt as per taste and mix again.
Cover the pan and let the cabbage cook on low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
