Yes, they are beautiful lies because they shaped and made our childhood interesting and memorable. There are so many of those lies. One particular lie that stuck to my memory for a long time is what my grandma said about piece of food that drops on the floor accidentally. She would say if your food drops on the floor, don't pick it because the devil must have eaten out of it. Up till now, I still wonder how I could believe that lie. Funny enough, many of us are already passing some of the lies down to our children..... Yeah, the lies go on
