Today I join Creative Sunday again. On this sunny and restful afternoon of a hectic week, I felt like savoring a delicious dessert. Coincidentally, yesterday I went shopping and bought some bags of rice chicha 🌾. I tell you that I have prepared several drinks with this chicha and they are very good, without exaggeration, and today I decided to change the recipe a little. Inspired by a boy who shares several recipes on the internet, I decided to prepare this delicious cheese cake. He calls it quesillo, but to me it turned out more like a quesillo cake, since I made some variations in the preparation.


Without further ado, here are the ingredients and the step-by-step:


-2 bags of 200g chicha rice flour
-8 eggs
-200 ML of liquid milk
-100 grams of white sugar
-2 tablespoons of vanilla essence

**For the Caramel:

-4 tablespoons of sugar


𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝕊𝕖𝕡𝕥 𝕓𝕪 𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕡:


  • To begin, we are going to place the eggs one by one on a plate, with this we check if they are all in good condition, when we are done we set aside.


  • We gradually transfer the milk to the blender glass, add the sugar, shake the blender at a high level until a homogeneous mixture is formed, pour this mixture into a container and continue adding the ingredients and beat until the measurements are complete.

  • Now, we add the vanilla essence.


  • And finally, we add the main ingredient of this recipe, the rice chicha flour 🌾 we continue beating and combining until we achieve a smooth and homogeneous mixture. We reserve.


  • Next, we make the caramel. To do this, we turn on the burner and add the tray, place the sugar and let it cook over medium heat. When it changes color towards golden, we remove and let it cool before adding the quesillo cake mixture.



  • We put the tray with the cheese cake mixture in the oven previously lit at 190 degrees Celsius for 1 hour 40 minutes.



  • After the time has passed, we remove our quesillo cake from the oven and place it in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours before enjoying.



    • We served our cheesecake to the whole family and everyone said that this dessert was tasty, we loved this delicious quesillo cake, we were amazed by its delicious flavor, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
