Inspiration

Every artwork I create connects to a part of me. Today, I chose to draw Baki. I watched the anime in December 2023, around the same time I discovered Andrew Tate. At 23, I was focused on building stamina and had just joined the gym. Without realizing it, I shifted from watching Andrew Tate's videos to Baki clips on YouTube, which led me to the anime. Now, I’m once again focused on increasing my stamina. This time, I’m strengthening myself spiritually and improving my mental health. Prayers help me stay physically active, boosting my concentration as I pray five times a day. While I wish I understood Arabic to grasp every word, it’s a challenge I plan to tackle.

Preparing Tools

image1.jpeg

I gathered felt tip pens and pencils (2H and B) for this sketch. These tools will help me capture the strength and intensity of Baki Hanma on the blank sheet.

Setting Up Workspace

image2.jpeg

I placed my tools on the blank sheet, ready to sketch. The organized workspace ensures I stay focused as I bring Baki’s character to life.

Drawing Basic Shape

image3.jpeg

Using the Loomis method, I started with a circle in the center to serve as the base for Baki’s head. Light pencil strokes allow for easy adjustments as I shape the figure.

Adding Guidelines

image4.jpeg

I added horizontal and vertical lines intersecting at the center of the circle to guide facial feature placement. These lines ensure symmetry and proper proportions.

Outlining Structure

image5.jpeg

I sketched the head using the guidelines for balance. Baki’s strong jawline and muscular frame began to take form, staying true to his character’s powerful physique.

Adding Details

image6.jpeg

I outlined Baki’s wild hair and intense eyes. The strong, angular features reflect his determination and intensity, essential traits of his character.

Refining Features

image7.jpeg

I deepened the lines around Baki’s hair, face, and muscular neck. The background lines added motion, conveying the energy of a martial artist always ready for battle.

Final Details

image8.jpeg

I focused on refining Baki’s spiky hair and his well-defined muscles. Shading with the felt tip pens added depth and captured the fierce spirit of the character.

Final Touches

image9.jpeg

I completed the shading on Baki’s face, hair, and upper body, giving him a lifelike, polished look. The pens and pencils used throughout reflect the process behind the final artwork.

Finalizing Artwork

The final shading and texture brought out Baki’s raw power and discipline. His intense expression and battle-ready stance stand out, fully capturing the essence of this martial arts icon.

I am surprised to know that you are a hidden artist and it is really very realistic 👌

Very nice painting art my friend

Thanks for your support! Though I don’t think there’s anything hidden about it. 😊

I’ve been in the art field for a long time and am currently diving into watercolors, upgrading my tools along the way. I recently completed an artwork where I used markers for coloring, hope you’ll enjoy it when I share it! Stay tuned for more content!

You did a good job, although there are details to improve on the eyes and lips. In general it is quite acceptable, so I hope you are encouraged to continue practicing and sharing what you do.

On the other hand, it catches my attention to know what prayer you pray to concentrate. I think it would have been a great idea to share the prayer in your publication, that would have given a lot of strength to your content, I tell you this because as an artist I know that it represents a lot.

Good job boy.

Here a !PIMP for you!

It took me 8 hours to complete it! 😄

Why so long? For me, creating art is like meditation, especially on weekends when I dedicate most of my time to creative work. Sure, I could do it faster and maybe even improve the results, but I truly enjoy the process more than the finished piece. What you see is simply me practicing without the fear of judgment. I always appreciate your feedback with an open heart.

As for HiveLearners, it’s a neutral community when it comes to religion. If I delve too deeply into religious topics, I could violate the community’s rules. While I often touch on religion in my posts, there are limitations. However, I’m happy to discuss more in the comment section.

  • Fajr – Before sunrise
  • Dhuhr – Midday, after the sun reaches its peak
  • Asr – Late afternoon, before sunset
  • Maghrib – Just after sunset
  • Isha – Night, after twilight ends

Even if you set aside the spiritual aspect, it's a great exercise routine. People who pray regularly and with discipline often experience better physical health. Check out videos on YouTube about the connection between Muslim prayer and exercise. I can’t recommend a specific prayer because debates about prayer postures can make things seem more complicated. For example, there are differences between Sunni and Shia prayers, and various Islamic sects have their own minor differences.

Another example is that in Saudi Arabia, you might see people using the Quran as a pillow, which is not commonly done in Pakistan. If you're exploring different religious practices, keep in mind that while routines and customs might vary, the basics and core principles of Islam remain consistent across different cultures.

You are good at sketching and I am quite impressed to see your artwork. Honestly, I think sketching is one of the most difficult tasks at least for me and I stay far from it all the time.
