Pakistan's national poet, Allama Iqbal, once said:
"Other worlds exist beyond the stars."
Today, this saying has become a reality as people all over the world are engaged in exploring realms far beyond our planet Earth. Space technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, and humans are now venturing beyond Earth to explore the moon, stars, and planets. Allama Iqbal envisioned such brave and ambitious youth when he remarked:
"I love those young people who lay their snares on the stars."
The point here is that sending a satellite into space is no ordinary feat. It requires immense courage, hard work, investment, intelligence, and expertise. Pakistani scientists, embodying all these qualities, have successfully launched their mission.
This mission is An Ambitious Endeavor for Pakistan.
پاکستان کے قومی شاعر علامہ اقبال نے کہا تھا:

ان کے اس قول کا عملی مصداق اس وقت ساری دنیا کے انسان بنے ہوئے ہیں جو کرہ ارضی سے کہیں دور خلاؤں کی کھوج میں لگے ہوئے ہیں. خلائی ٹیکنالوجی بھی دن بدن ترقی کرتی چلی جا رہی ہے. انسان نے زمین کے بعد اب چاند، ستاروں اور سیاروں پر کم دیں ڈالنا شروع کر دی ہیں. ایسے ہی باہمت، حوصلہ مند نوجوانوں کے بارے میں شاعر مشرق علامہ اقبال نے فرمایا تھا:
"محبت مجھے ان جوانوں سے ہے.
ستاروں پہ جو ڈالتے ہیں کمند."
مقصد کلام یہ ہے کہ خلا میں سیٹیلائٹ بھیجنا کوئی معمولی بات نہیں. اس کے لیے بہت ہمت محنت مشقت سرمایہ ذہانت اور مہارت چاہیے اور پاکستانی سائنسدانوں نے ان تمام صلاحیتوں سے متصف ہو کر اپنا باقاعدہ مشن کامیابی کے ساتھ لانچ کر دیا ہے.
The Sixth Nation to Send a Mission to the Moon:
I am extremely pleased to announce that Pakistan has launched its first satellite, "I-Cube Q," on a moon mission on May 3rd. This satellite successfully entered the moon's orbit on the afternoon of May 8th, making Pakistan the sixth country to send a satellite into the moon's orbit. According to research by Statista journalist Katharina Buchholz, the space agencies of six countries — the USA, the former Soviet Union (now Russia), China, Japan, India, and the European Union — have sent missions to the moon's orbit or its vicinity.

مجھے بہت خوشی ہے کہ پاکستان نے بھی اپنا پہلا سیٹیلائٹ "آئی کیوب قمر" 3 مئی کو چاند مشن پر روانہ کر دیا تھا جو کہ کامیابی کے ساتھ 8 مئی کی دوپہر چاند کے مدار میں داخل ہو گیا اور اب پاکستان چاند کے مدار میں سیٹیلائٹ بھیجنے والا چھٹا ملک بن چکا ہے. سٹیٹسٹا کے لیے کام کرنے والی صحافی کیتھرینا بیوکولز کی تحقیق کے مطابق دنیا کے چھ ممالک کی خلائی ایجنسیاں جن میں امریکہ، سابقہ سوویت یونین (موجودہ روس)، چین، جاپان، انڈیا اور یورپی یونین شامل ہیں نے چاند کے مدار میں اور چاند پر یا اس کے قریب اپنے مشن بھیجے ہیں۔
A Proud Achievement:
For someone unfamiliar with technology, this might seem trivial or unimportant, but any knowledgeable person can recognize what a significant honor this is for Pakistan. When I received this news, I was overjoyed. I couldn't believe my eyes that my country had joined the ranks of these few advanced nations that are now conquering the skies after mastering the Earth. I believe that this day is a day of pride and honor for every citizen of Pakistan. When news channels worldwide reported that Pakistan had launched its moon mission, it was a moment of great pride. This achievement by the Pakistan Institute of Space Technology is noteworthy, as Pakistan's proposal was the only successful one among eight proposals. After approval from the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization, the Chinese National Space Agency's rocket successfully launched Pakistan's satellite into the moon's orbit.

شاید ٹیکنالوجی سے ناواقف شخص کے لیے یہ مذاق یا کوئی غیر اہم بات ہو مگر ہر ذی شعور انسان اس بات کا بخوبی ادراک کر سکتا ہے کہ ملک پاکستان کے لیے یہ کتنے بڑے اعزاز کی بات ہے. مجھے یہ خبر پہنچی تو میں خوشی سے پھولے نہ سمایا. حیرت کی انتہاء نہ رہی. مجھے اپنی آنکھوں پر یقین نہیں آ رہا تھا کہ میرا ملک بھی ان گنے چنے ترقی یافتہ ممالک کی فہرست میں آ چکا ہے جو زمین کو مسخر کرنے کے بعد اب فضاؤں میں پروازیں کر رہے ہیں. میرا ماننا ہے کہ نہ صرف میرے لیے بلکہ ملک پاکستان میں رہنے والے ہر چھوٹے بڑے شہری کے لیے یہ دن فخر اور اعزاز کا دن ہے. جب پوری دنیا کے نیوز چینلز پر یہ خبر چلی کہ پاکستان نے اپنا چاند مشن روانہ کر دیا. یہ پاکستان انسٹیٹیوٹ آف سپیس ٹیکنالوجی کی بہت بڑی کامیابی تھی کہ آٹھ ممالک کے پروپوزل میں سے صرف پاکستان کو کامیابی ملی اور پھر ایشیا پیسیفک سپیس کارپوریشن آرگنائزیشن کی منظوری کے بعد چینی نیشنل سپیس ایجنسی کے راکٹ کے ذریعے چاند کے مدار میں پاکستان نے بالآخر اپنا سیٹیلائٹ روانہ کر دیا.
Economic Conditions vs Technological Advancement:
Some of my friends and colleagues argue that it is absurd for a country like Pakistan, facing economic disparities, to launch such expensive projects. To them, I say that no country in the world is free from economic disparity. Maintaining economic stability is a significant challenge in itself. If Pakistan, while maintaining its current economic policy, has successfully launched its space mission, it is a commendable achievement, not something to be criticized. Poverty exists to some extent in every part of the world. Not everyone is wealthy. Does this mean that until someone has millions, they should not engage in research? Absolutely not. Instead, it is a great achievement to strive within current resources to elevate the country's name, and this effort deserves ample encouragement. Now, regarding the matter of resources, calling this project expensive is a clear indication of ignorance about the details. If you look into the specifics of this project, you will realize how economically it was successfully completed.
معاشی حالات کا ٹیکنالوجی سے تقابل؟
میرے بعض ساتھی اور دوست یہ اعتراض کر رہے ہیں کہ پاکستان جیسے ملک کا جسے معاشی ناہمواری جیسے مسائل کا سامنا ہے، اتنے مہنگے پراجیکٹس لانچ کرنا مضحکہ خیز بات ہے. میں انہیں صرف اتنا کہنا چاہتا ہوں کہ دنیا کا کوئی ایسا ملک نہیں ہے جہاں معاشی ناہمواری کا مسئلہ کوئی مسئلہ نہ ہو. معاشی استحکام کو برقرار رکھنا بذات خود ایک بہت بڑا مسئلہ ہے. پاکستان نے اگر اپنی موجودہ معاشی پالیسی برقرار رکھتے ہوئے کامیابی سے اپنا خلائی مشن پانچ کر دیا ہے تو یہ قابل تحسین بات ہے نہ کہ اس پر اعتراض کیا جائے. دنیا کے ہر خطہ میں کسی نہ کسی حد تک غربت موجود ہے. دنیا کا ہر شخص امیر نہیں ہے. تو کیا اس کا یہ مطلب ہے کہ جب تک کسی شخص کے پاس لاکھوں کروڑوں روپیہ نہ آجائے تب تک وہ کسی قسم کا تحقیقی کام نہ کرے؟ ہرگز نہیں. بلکہ موجودہ وسائل میں رہتے ہوئے اپنی بساط کی حد تک کوشش کرکے اپنے ملک کا نام سربلند کرنا یہ بہت بڑا کارنامہ ہے جس کی جتنی حوصلہ افزائی کی جائے کم ہے. اب جہاں تک بات وسائل کی ہے تو اس پراجیکٹ کو مہنگا کہنا از خود تفصیلات سے لاعلمی کا منہ بولتا ثبوت ہے. اگر آپ اس پراجیکٹ کی تفصیلات معلوم کریں گے تو یہ بخوبی اندازہ ہو جائے گا کہ کس قدر مناسب خرچ میں کامیابی کے ساتھ یہ پراجیکٹ مکمل کیا گیا.
Our Future:
Following the success of the I-Cube Q mission, Pakistan's scientific research, technological advancement, and space information will see significant progress. Through this satellite, we will not only advance educational projects but also see the growth of Pakistan's space agency, SUPARCO. Whether it’s monitoring climate change or gathering new information about the moon, we will now receive data through our own satellite. Just thinking about Pakistan's bright future in space research excites me. These small steps today will lead to significant achievements in space research for Pakistan in the future. I hope our beloved country will continue to make strides in the field of technology.

Since I've 'met' you, I've discovered a bit more about Pakistan and I could believe that you were overjoyed! I am 100% sure Pakistan is a beautifull country with a lot of awesome people, though facing several difficulties because of politics etc. So, achieving such a thing as launching a satelite into the moon's orbit is AWESOME!
