Being mindful of what our children watch now A-days is something many parents should create more time for. Because these children are there tomorrow, the leaders of tomorrow, and it's even said that you should train your child in a good way so that they can give you rest at the end of the day.
If you ask me, I will tell you for free that parents have got more rolls to play in guiding these children more. Because at the end of the day, if anything goes wrong, it will have more effect on them compared to the effect it will have on the content creators.
Because of what I have noticed so far on how the age restriction of movies is lately, I will tell you for free over and over again that they are not being fully monitored well by the producers compared to how it used to be during my own time. You will see some video content rated for kids that is quite unhealthy for them to watch.
Because the children of nowadays pick up things quickly. They are quite smart and try to always practice what they see on this screen. It's better for parents to ensure that they don't watch things that aren't meant for them to see. They should spend more time helping them go through the right path of life.
This is there tomorrow, and they shouldn't take it for granted. Because if things go wrongly at the end of the day because of your lack of focus and attention in helping put the child on the right path of life they should go, you end up being the one to lose something because these content creators have nothing to lose, and you wouldn't be able to blame them for your own part that you didn't play as a parent or guidance.
I'm not saying that what they are doing is making any sense also. The government should focus more on making sure these content creators are able to stick to the age restriction and not go astray to avoid leading the children in a certain direction. So they don't also get exposed to life wildly at a very tender age.
The truth is that we all know the danger of most of the content online these days. God is the only one that can help everyone of us to bring up our kids. Because if you literally start talking about the content online these days, you will keep going nonstop.
The contents out there aren't really healthy for kids, and I can say that with my full chest. Even cartoons that used to be safe for children to watch before are not really that safe compared to how they used to be for kids to watch without parents monitoring them fully.
So it is the responsibility of online content creators and also the responsibility of parents to ensure children are watching the right thing. It is a shared work for both platform owners and parents. But parents have more work.
- Monitoring: Parents should regularly monitor their child's online activity.
- Educate Them: They should also learn to teach their children reasons they shouldn't watch things that are restricted to their age range.
- Open communication: parents should always ensure to communicate with their children more to the extent that they now feel safe in their hands and are always being able to open up to them.
I'm sure this should really help them while bringing up their children.
Thank you for taking the time to go through my content, and I hope you've learned lots of lessons from the community's weekly prompt. This post is in response to the #Hivelearners weekly contest.

To be sincere, parents.rs have more roles to play when it comes to allowing their kids to use the Internet. Children can sneak their parents phones just to watch whatever they see online. This, I guess must be put to an end.
Yes
They really do.
Exactly! And that sneaking of a thing is more dangerous.
Its terrible as it is scary how much dangers the uncensored social contents have impacted upon kids and the younger generation. Parents know the harm being caused but blame their busy schedule most times. I hope our government can do something significant to censor such contents. A willing government is what we truly need
I hope they are also being able to so something as soon as possible.
Thank you for stopping by ❤️
