The constant thing in life is change an element of time. The wheel keeps spinning and the things we have now becomes no more in the nearest feature. Mankind is blessed with intelligence which has produced innovative ideas, who would have thought we were once humans who had nothing but stones for tools, gradually our ideas evolved now here we are with more innovations that supersedes the imaginations of our ancestors. We humans invest our time, effort and knowledge in ensuring the advancement of technology to ensure sustainable future for mankind and our environment.

Is it not lovely? Having to experience all sort of technological advancements in our lifetime. I mean who could have thought it would be possible to reach out to a friend you have seen in decades through our smart devices, staying connected with all that matters to us without moving an inch, doesn't it sound intriguing? The comfort and simplicity provided by technology is something that makes us look forward to more technological advancements in the nearest future.

2050 for instance, what do you think the world will be like? Judging from what we have now, it is quite certain that technology advancements would have gone beyond what is imaginable. All sort of tools and gadget we never thought possible would be within our reach. We might even see flying cars and robots with similar features to a human being but that doesn't really bother me because technological advancement is a factor that is inevitable. There are other stuff that matters, things that might seem less concerning right now but I also consider it inevitable has technology rises.

Whenever I find myself watching all kind of movies that involves the future and all, there is usually something common in each and everyone one of them, which are: Technological advancement and humanity's failure. I'm not trying to generalise reality based on some ideas portrayed in a movie but it is enough to have you thinking, why does every movie that gives us a glimpse of the future always put humanity in a struggling state. When I say humanity, I'm not talking about the extinction of mankind due to some virus or something, I'm more concerned about what happens within.

What makes a human being is not what is seen but the horrors within, our attributes, our warmth and other stuff that matters. Technological advancements will do just fine but how it will impact the lives of humans and our thinking is something unpredictable. We are living in an era when others would rather watch their fellow humans starve while piling up a mountain of provisions in their homes, giving has now become a strange word, an attribute of the few. If we could expect technological advancements in the nearest future, I also believe this aspect humanity that is slowly going extinct might be no more. Mankind would depend on technology for everything that matters and what does that mean for humans.

I'm not trying to be an anti-technology or anti-development kind of guy but I'm more concerned about the values of we humans and our significance. Sadly it is dwindling and it seems there is little or nothing anyone can do about it. Has it ever crossed your mind, the more weapons and tools we create to protect ourselves, the more the Chaos it causes, it seems like a more expensive price to pay for comfort. Which makes it a little difficult for me to decide, is it something to look forward to? It depends, If technological advancements means the endangerment of humans, the extinction of human values, essence and significance, I don't think so.

Your last paragraph is the truth.
We keep making ammunition like we're hoping that war stirs up sooner. What innovation is made is for the innovators' interest even though it becomes helpful to the rest of society somehow. It's not like they're cheap, too.

For every innovation, the whole point is to first ensure acceptance from the public even if it will end up harming us in the future.

I agree with you that we can not truly predict the impact that advancement in technology will have on us humans. We can all see tye good that what we have now has been to us, and of us, the bad is just as glaring.

Exactly, I guess it is left to us to embrace both the good at the bad.

Thanks for stopping by 🤗

I hope we do not end up destroying ourselves with advancement of technology, the developing countries being at higher risk while those privileged at the height of technology constantly fighting for dominance and resources.

 last month

That is the tricky twist, at the long run the sole aim of advancement in technology changes from comfortability to pursuit of dominance.

Time is passing very fast and progress is going on. We will be able to spend that time a few years from now The things we used to dream about will be seen happening in this world in the next few years.

That is true, time has a way of bringing about change and development in the society.

Congratulations!
