The crypto space offers limitless opportunities for individuals who take their time to equip themselves with knowledge, unlike most people I was not privileged to acquire all the necessary basic knowledge before diving into it or should I say I had no interest in getting into anything related to crypto until I joined hive blog. Most people might not be aware, before I joined I hive blog about 5 years ago I was just an individual passionate about writing, specifically poems. I engage in conceptual writing once in awhile whenever I feel inspired, then someday a friend introduced me to hive blog, just like you might have guessed he didn't mention anything about hive blog being crypto related, in fact he didn't mention anything about web3, if he did I might have declined.

He did explain a few things about hive blog to me that might relate with what I'm into. At that moment all I could think of is "It is just a blog" which kind of translate to another opportunity for me to get across to more audience. I wrote my introduction post and I began my journey, along the way I figured it out myself that it was crypto related but at that point I wasn't ready to let go of what I was building, so gradually based on my level of curiosity which was my driving force, I dived into learning more about hive blockchain by reading the FAQ and other relating articles. It suddenly occurred to me that I have been missing out a lot by shying away from the crypto space, by learning about hive blockchain my hunger for knowledge regarding other blockchains and ecosystem grew.

In so doing, I started getting involved in more crypto related activities like trading e.t.c though I had tried getting involved in trading a little in the year 2020, it was bull-run season and Bitcoin was the most trending news on social media and it was on everyone's lips, without having any idea of what it was all about, I mean learning about factors that kick-start the bull run season, Bitcoin halving e.t.c due to FOMO I decided to buy an amount of Bitcoin which was around the second quarter of 2020, I must say it didn't end the way I wanted as i watched my asset dwindling in value and I had no control over it, it was a funny experience. Lucky for me that year it rose a little later and I was able sell off and never tried to make such a move again.

Not until year 2022/2023, I got involved in Airdrops, most especially telegram Mini apps crypto project. Through it I felt the need to increase my crypto portfolio outside hive blockchain and thanks to Airdrops between the span of a year I noticed a significant increase in my portfolio. One thing about humans need is that it is insatiable, I wanted more. The crypto space is limitless with lot of paths to follow, along the line I realised I never thoroughly learnt about crypto basics, I have been trading all along through the experience I had acquired. It felt like a wake up call, instead of relying on YouTube videos only I decided to enroll for a crypto class.

Slowly a poet became a crypto enthusiast but the funny thing about the crypto space is that there is always something to learn, so I keep learning and exploring. Thanks to the multiple class I enrolled in I was able to get rid of my fears of futures trading, last year I got involved in futures trading for the first time, I wouldn't say it hasn't been without challenges but I'm glad I did, amidst chaos there has been lot of beautiful moments. I mean there has been a lot of things in my life I had put a lot of effort to achieve but most of it were short term or probably just school related activities.

But this is more personal and it was long term judging by how long it took me to get to were I'm today, I wouldn't call my self an expert in the crypto space because I still have a long way to go but the good news is there is no information about the crypto space you are in search of that isn't out there. So when I look at my journey so far it has indeed been in a relentless effort because along the line there were times it felt too complex to entangle but then I was determined to go through it and here I'm slowly reaping the results of the effort I have applied over the years.

As in ehn... Its not easy at all. Learning something and putting it into action, it calls for a lot. I can really relate to this. However, it all follows and calls to how well we go after what we want. You've done well!!! The determination you use to pursue something will determine just how good you get to be at it.

I guess determination does plays its part because at some point I couldn't tell if it was just me satisfying my curiosity, determination or I was just enjoying the act of exploring other opportunities out there. I can say, it was a journey of transformation, tedious path and enjoyable ride.
