Nowadays my everyday is like Sunday as I have completed my degree. Now I am looking for a good job, so until I find it, I am resting at home. Sometimes I get bored, but when I go out, seeing the intensity of the heat, the house feels like heaven. Summer is starting so it's very hot in Pakistan and in this season I don't feel like going out of the house at all so I'm totally relaxing and having fun.
I often used to participate in Creative Sunday and today I thought of doing something productive. Earlier I thought I would do some cooking but today my heart didn't even want to cook anything. Being idle makes a person feel very lazy. That's why I was looking for a job so that I could have a proper routine and be busy with my life. I like working because sitting at home only makes me gain weight and I don't want to get fat at all because nowadays I eat something all day:p
Then I took out my sketchbook and brainstormed painting ideas. Since I belong to the field of literature, nature paintings keep running in my mind. I didn't make this painting by looking anywhere, but I made it on the sketchbook in my mind. It may look very easy to see but it took me a long time to make it so let me explain it step by step.
Step 1
First I got out my sketchbook and for that I needed other items including
Pencil
Eraser
Scale
Water color's
Sketch book
Brushes
Then I made a frame using the pencil & scale and keeping the sketchbook wide. It was made so that the entire painting could be done within it. Making a frame makes the painting look much more beautiful and sophisticated.
Step 2
I then created the sun with a large lid and also drew a line below that would be painted black.
Step 3
In the third step I made some birds to make it look more beautiful and natural. The birds I made in different sizes and one I made just above the sun to make it look attractive and look beautiful.
Step 4
In step number 4 I have taken watercolor brushes and some water. With its help I will paint my drawings with watercolors.
Step 5
In step number 5 I painted the sun entirely yellow and the rest of the area first with orange color and after that I painted with a little red color. Orange and red colors mix to produce a new color that is very attractive to look at and indicates evening time.
Step 6
I then outlined the entire frame with a black marker. In the same way, I outlined around the sun to make it look prominent and filled all the birds with black. Now it was starting to look more real.
Final look
In the last step I made the outline of it thicker as the thin one didn't look good to me and I made a palm tree on the side and outlined that too with a black marker.
Remember that we have to outline only when the entire paint is thoroughly dry, otherwise if the paint is wet and outlined, it will spread and look very messy.
So here's the final look of my painting. I hope you liked it. I'll try to do some more exciting stuff next time.
