Transparency is the sole of any business owner, some traders still have a conscience and can deal with you generously and make you feel the best, while we have others who think they can rubbish you at any slight opportunity they have.
Some traders always leave their home training behind and talk to customers as if they can consume everything they are selling, the worst place you can experience this is the south-western part of Nigeria, hmmm welcome to Nigeria.
I once had a terrible experience with a woman in the market, I went to the market this fateful day to get groceries for the house and also bought soup ingredients for the family, I got all the veggies then I remembered to get ice fish, I went to the cold room and bought the fish, I got like 10 of it because we will store some in the refrigerator for later use.
I bought this fish and the woman packaged it nicely for me so that I wouldn't suspect, I bought other things and when I was going home I noticed a foul smell but I ignored it, flies were all around the bag I carried and this was when I noticed that I had bought something bad, I got home and it was terrible, I unbox everything in the bag and I noticed the fish is spoilt, all the 10 of it, I took a bike straight back to the cold room to make a complaint about it and this woman gave me the other side of her.
This woman denied that she was not the one who sold the fish for me, I was dumbfounded because I had never come across such a person in my life, she denied me totally and it was as if I was lying, to cut the long story short another woman came with the same issue and this was when people start to believe me, I throw the fish at her and demanded my money, this economy isn't smiling at all for me to waste my hard-earned money on something that is not productive because no one will be able to eat that smelling fish in my family and that is a waste of money.
People gathered to settle everything and I demanded my money, this woman refused to give me back the money but she went to her other cold room to bring another fresh fish for me, this time around I checked everything before going home and saw that it is perfect before leaving her shop, this taught me a great lesson and I never stepped my foot into her shop ever again.
One of the greatest experiences I had with a stranger was when I went for my national youth services, I was posted out of my state and it was as if I had entered a strange land because the language was different from mine and the culture was extremely different as well but I met a woman who made my stay so easy for me in terms of buying things.
Visiting a place for the first time can be so challenging especially when they know you are a corp member and you know nothing about their language, this was my first challenge, people hike the price of things when they notice you are a stranger, I went to this woman store to get things I would be used in cooking, we had some conversation and she noticed I was a stranger and also a corp member, this woman doesn't have what I wanted but she asked me to make a list of everything I would be needing that she will be going to the main market soon and she will get everything for me.
She gave me the exact price they are selling things in the market without adding her own charges, some people will sell for you the price they are selling it in their shop, but this woman did not do so, she collected my number and called me when she came back and added everything to me, I was glad because she ease my stress and since that day she has been my customer till I finished my service, she is amazing and lovely.
She made life comfortable for me during my stay in this strange land, she preferred to ask me to list everything I would need then to sell for me, she always helped me to buy directly from the market because she knew that they would overcharge me when they notice I am not from their state.
Little kindness can turn into bigger one in the future, traders should learn how to be accommodating and not chase customers away from them, A little gesture can lead to a total turnaround, I love traders who smile at me whenever I am buying something not the ones with stern facial expressions.

It is a bad practice today that traders abuse foreigners and people in general, here in Venezuela they spend all people in general, not only with foreigners. Merchants always want to get the most out and do not put themselves in the position of buyers. Difficult today's world.
I would have liked to see your person's video claiming fish! 😂
!pizza
I forgot to make a blog that day because I was angry and bittered about the experience, the woman triggered my anger and I'm glad I served it very hot
😂
I would really have liked to look furious, I'm very curious
I give you a meme to smile.
We must be careful before buying something, we have to trust whoever sells us something and be alert, as there is a lot of advertising that does not correspond to the truth and that leads us to buy.
Some people are just bad in and out, they only care about themselves and not about others, and they want to dispose of their bad product to an innocent person.
The attitude of the shop keepers today is not good with the customers and then the result is that the customers leave the ego, then when there is no profit in the shop, then the purpose of keeping the shop open will be lost. If people have to close the shop, then it is best that the shopkeepers should treat the customers well so that their business can continue.
