We all know that everyone inherited one or two traits from their parents it may either be a good one or a bad one, today I would love to share what I think I inherited from my parents
FROM MY FATHER
I believe I inherited NOT BEING FRIENDLY from my father, my father is someone who doesn't put many friends around, he always loves his privacy and will never give anyone the chance to intrude on his privacy.
My father is someone who doesn't like to confined to someone except his family members, firstly I thought he was so secretive but later I realized that I am exactly like him, he doesn't love to go out or be found everywhere if the outing is not important, he is a man of his word, his no will always be no, I called him principle man but no I think I took that from him.
I do not like too many friends around, I always think I do not need any friends because having female friends can be so dramatic, not all female friends can keep your secret the way you want and my life is as simple as I can think, I love to be indoor if I am not at work.
My neighbors do complain that I do not like coming out or staying in the compound to gist with them, but I do not want any familiarity between us because it may lead to quarrel at the end of it and I always love my respect and dignity.
So I inherited this part from my father, not to associate with others or should I call it self-respect because I do not see it as pride just that I don't like keeping friends.
FROM MY MOTHER
My mother is the opposite of my father when it comes to friendship, my mother always has church members, members from her club association, teachers association, and so on but one good thing I inherited from my mother is CLEANLINESS, my mother can clean from morning till evening, she is someone that can never stay where dirt is, especially her kitchen, my mother will be cooking and be washing her plates and cleaning everywhere at the same time, I inherited this trait because I can not cook if I see a spoon inside the basin that is dirty.
I love to put everything in place before I start cooking in my kitchen, I can never stand dirty, and I love to clean my house every minute whenever I am at home, I love this too because it is now part of me and I am enjoying it even when I am sick I will still clean my house.
HOW HAS THIS HELPED ME IN LIFE
Well, being not friendly or not having many friends around has saved me from the emotional trauma people experience from friends, I live my life the way I want, and no one is intruding on my privacy, not that I don't have friends that I talk to, I have friends from school and work but none of them is my best friend.
My mother did this great one that I emulate from her, cleanliness is next to Godliness, though she didn't sit me down and teach me all this but inheriting this trait from her is so helpful and I don't feel lazy when it comes to cleaning of the house even when it is not my house, I find cleaning so convenient any time any day.
DO I ENJOY THIS
I enjoyed both, but passing my father's traits to my children is what I can't do but the cleaning part will surely be passed on to my children because when comes to having friends I can never deny them, not everyone has this kind of character in my family, I have a brother who is the life of every party, I know some of my children can be like me while others can choose the way they want but I will never impose on them because this type of life can be boring and lonely most times.

Your father is an introvert 😁 the traits you talked about are the basic qualities of an introvert and while some people might see it as unfriendliness or pride, it's just the nature of introverts to spend time alone or with family, most of the time
Having too many friends is can actually leads to something else, it's good to be secretive but not to someone that actually loves you. You have taken a good things from your parents. The fact that you are so clean is what I like most. At least our room will not be dirty when get married.
And you are a good cook too , omor mehn I'm already in love 💕
