The Beauty of Art: Appreciating Creativity Beyond Meaning

in Hive Learners12 days ago

I was having a conversation with a friend, and I told him, "Do you know God is an artist?" He paused and looked at me because he was wondering where I got my philosophy from. Before I told him this, I had sat down to think deeply about it. Every creation has a reason why it was created, and the fact that some things came out the way they are or have come to be—that's an absolute fact that God is an artist—but does every art have to resonate with everyone? The answer is no because not everyone can understand the reason for him creating what he created or some of the truth behind his creation.

Hello everyone, My name is Fashtioluwa, and I am welcoming you to my blog. I am known as the alien on Hive, so I would appreciate it if you have an open mind so we can enjoy this conversation we are about to have.

After reading the topic for this prompt, the first thing that came to my mind was, "God is an artist." In my opinion, art doesn't always need to have a clear, defined meaning behind it. While art can certainly be a powerful medium for conveying emotions, stories, and messages, there is also beauty in simply appreciating art for its aesthetic value, creativity, and ability to evoke pure enjoyment.

When we listen to the tune of the forest, of rainfall, or get lost in the visuals of captivating wonders going around us, we don't always need to dissect every frame to find a deep or hidden message. Sometimes, all we need to do is enjoy what we see and the emotions it gives us.

What speaks to you might not speak to other people, and this is where the beauty of art lies.

"Art is the heartbeat of the soul.
A dance of colors, a story untold.
In every brushstroke, a world unfolds.
In every sculpture, the truth is bold.

It whispers in silence, screams in the light,
A mirror to dreams, both day and night.
With every shape and every hue,
Art reveals what’s deep and true.

You can quantify its thought.
you can't search it fault
It sings the same words to all.
but different meanings is it called.

What I did up there is hard, but everyone who reads it will have a different meaning and different interpretation of it. Some people have like minds, which means what it speaks to Mr. A might be the same thing Mr. H is resonating with. It doesn't have to have a meaning behind it to you, but it does to someone else.

So, the next time you find yourself admiring a piece of art, listening to a song, or watching a movie, don't feel pressured to search for a hidden meaning. Allow yourself to bask in the beauty of art for art's sake; don't overthink it; don't put yourself down; just embrace the joy and inspiration it brings into your life, regardless of whether it carries a deeper message or not. After all, sometimes the most profound impact of art is the joy it brings to our hearts and the wonder it sparks in our souls.

Now, you see why I said God is an artist. Thanks for reading.

Different strokes for different folks. What is attractive to Mr A might not be so with Mr Z.

ART should be enjoyed not criticized

Yeah
You sound like an artist here

Of course I am 😁😁

Wow.

There was so much value packed in this write up. It was nicely articulated, straight to the point and done with poise.

Indeed God is an artist, I have believed that for a long time because sometimes I just pause and watch the sun set in awe. The way some humans (like yourself) are mesmerizingly good looking... Points to the fact that God undoubtedly is an artist.

Truly, as you rightly outlined... Our level of understanding or appreciation differs, that explains how we perceive life and certain information.

Thank you for sharing this big fash. You're a Star
