Aaccalamualikum all
How are you all! I hope evrybody is well. I'm also well by the grace of God. I'm @haideremti from Bangladesh. Today I will try to write about the old airport museum of Bangladesh which I visited a few days ago.
If you want to see a museum that can be built by decorating, you have to go to Agargaon in the capital. The Biman Museum has been established as a witness to the glorious history of the Bangladesh Air Force. The museum houses planes of national pride and memory. In the turbulent days of 1971, the Bangladesh Air Force started its journey in a completely hostile environment at Dimapur with little resources and manpower. The indomitable courage of a few fearless aviators and some fearless airmen shook the battlefield of the war of liberation and hastened the victory. In order to preserve the history, success and development of this glorious tradition of Bangladesh Air Force and present it to the new generation, the Bangladesh Air Force Museum started its journey to the south side of Tejgaon Airport runway adjacent to Begum Rokeya Sarani in Agargaon on September 26, 2014. A food court has been built on the side. Besides, the souvenir shop 'Niladri' has been decorated with various items of the Air Force. have been set up at various points of the sidewalk besides the children's park to entertain and increase the enthusiasm of the children. It has been named 'Children's Heaven'. There are also water fountains. The aircraft found in the museum: Hunter Biman: The Indian Air Force gave the aircraft as a gift to the Bangladesh Air Force for its participation and contribution in the Indian War of Independence. N-24 aircraft: This Russian-made aircraft was added to the Bangladesh Air Force in 1983 as Balaka. The aircraft was officially used by the President and the Prime Minister. F-8 fighter jet: The Pakistan Armed Forces used this US-made aircraft in the war of independence of Bangladesh. In the battle, the Pak army left the aircraft in a damaged condition. The first Biman Balaka: The first passenger Biman Balaka in Bangladesh. This Russian made aircraft first came to Bangladesh in 1956. It is currently housed in a museum. In addition to these aircraft, there are many other aircraft.
When we enter the aircraft museum, we see a few warplanes as we enter. Then I entered a little further and saw some blue stones. This is because of the blue color on the stone. Then I saw a little clay tiger standing. The tiger has been built there as our national animal. And here in the afternoon people come to visit from different places.
The museum is open Monday through Thursday from 2pm to 8pm. Open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Weekly closing on Sunday and entrance fee is 20 rupees. Understanding the time and opportunity, you can come back to Bangladesh with your loved ones.
