Compliments of the season. Oh Yes, today is the very day many people have been waiting for. From this region people make lots of preparation not just for themselves but to also share with people around them. One of my friends told me of how someone bought three big chicken from her last year and till September this year the person hasn't paid. That's so funny because just to please people around there are those who go out of their way to do so and even go as far as living a borrowed life.
Just yesterday as I was in a discussion with my husband he said new year is just next week, thinking about it I said that true so why will one just over labour himself to please people. Don't miss understand meee oooo, am not saying that sharing with people is bad, but my point is there is always a way one can do things according to his level. One don't need to over stress himself or even borrow in order to meet up with the demand of the season. After this season comes another season which is January and January promax so high wisdom is required to go through this time. Just yesterday a lot of chickens, goats and cows have lead there life's for this season.
It is mostly difficult to say know to some of the demands of the season especially when you go and see how others are riding on with the season. Just yesterday I took a stroll to the market to get somethings for the family as I planned to stock the house for the coming days. On arriving the market as if there was one special competition people are rushing to be part of. The market was so full and one hardly gain access to things without spending extra time. I went and stayed at one of my friends shop, that was a smart move for me because I had to calculate how to handle my back so I won't miss my phone and more.
Going through this season requires high level of discipline which I have just tried my best to learn. I try my best to go for only things that are important for now. Many buy lots of things which they may end up using and that is not a wise thing to be done.
My kids made lots of demand for Christmas clothes and toys, I just put it streght to them that all the clothes they have is for Christmas and on my own part I don't wait until Christmas before buying clothes for them. I buy things as the demand arises, I also did my best to buy some toy cars and forgot about buying guns as that doesn't add anything to them.
One other vital thing I have done is to plan ahead for the families feeding and school resumption as I don't want to face lots of depression from any angle. My shopping yesterday had that covered as I will not want to be visiting the market on a daily basis to shop for things. Possibly, till next year before I visit there again. Also my kids are resuming on the 6th of January and school runs takes a lot from us, so I just have to manage up myself and say no to lots of things.
Going to the place of sharing things, I am one person who do not wait for the season before I can share with people around me, doing the extra this season I got some things which I will be sharing with my friends, neighbors and inlaws but it does not have to be today because everyone is doing same today. So I will wait till around 26th before I do my own giftings, for my in-laws they will receive their package when my husband goes visiting by tomorrow.
One thing that helps in this season is to cut your cloth according to your clothe, I didn't say size because maybe the material you have is not equating your size but one just have to look for a visible way to make do of what he has. There is no awards that will be given to the best Christmas celebrant of the year and most of all it's not your birthday day.
