This are really good ways to stay awake and I agree more with the last one, as long as your brain knows there is work ahead, it will do it's best to stay alert.
And keeping the mouth busy is also a good way to stay awake but I don't really like chewing anything once it's past midnight although I do that when I was so busy and I had to eat very late, hehe.
