and it didn't make any sense to make "no phones allowed" when you're in college unlike other kids studying lower grades.
But still in 2025 there are colleges that won't allow college students to have phones.
It's been some years now since I got rid of college I mean completed it but those days weren't easy because of "no phones allowed".
Why "No phones Allowed" Rule in College make no sense in this era
Back when I was in college and they didn't allowed phones, I still use to hide it everyday in my bag secret pocket or sometimes in the socks whenever they use to raid in classes to get those phone's from students.
I had a reason to bring phone everyday in college and it wasn't to use it while I'm taking classes
But during those days whenever I had a free class and Recess, I was grinding on internet basically I was the only kid trading and who had knowledge about crypto back in the time.
So I was always unhappy dealing with those CR raiding classes to take phones from students and there was times when I tried to explain I ain't using it while taking classes or anything like you can say I'm wasting my or someone else time
I was just minding my own business and that time i had more responsibility since doing job with college was quite hard so I stick to side hustles
Old School Rules for New Generation is more like Jail
I always found those rules like they want us to be in jail and don't ask for food or anything just starve their and survive on your own

I have to say it that most of colleges where old school rules exist like no phone allowed, show up every single day for attendance
Only makes study difficult for students because they feel like trap when none of the teachers listen or cooperate with you.
It was before GPT
Back then there was not even any ChatGPT like thing so the rules because students take help from Ai is just for cope nowadays.
If you had any assignments it always took a long time to research on internet but at home since you can't do anything productive on college except taking those lectures doesn't matter if you understand the whole concept or not, you're not allowed to adapt yourself with the latest technology and way of learning concepts.
Wrapping Up...
The struggle you've to do if you want to continue studies with side hustle or learn better through phones but not allowed was just too real
And I still think this one rule is so stupid. There should be a line like you're mature in college so it makes sense to allow this in college except while in class.
