FRIENDS TURN FAMILY

A little support is needed sometimes to stay upright
A little comfort is needed sometimes when we are down
And a shoulder to lean on is also needed

No matter how strong we are we will always need help and with help, we can go further

How far this help works for us depends on who the help is coming from and that is why we have friends and close friends, friends that will go extra mile for us, friends like family, friends like saviors, and friends like brothers

It's important to ask for help when we need help that's why we get to have friends
Some friends come into our lives and make positive changes and with some friends, it could be the opposite

some friends the first meet was when we both know we will ride for a long one and with some friends, the first meet was the end

some friends put us as a priority and with some friends its the opposite.

Some friends, we just had an opportunity to meet and boom the bond became strong

My prayer is we get to meet up with friends that shape our lives and have only good intentions for us

friends help, and friends look out for each other, sometimes friendships are not planned it just works out well

My friend Emmanuel is a very good example

I had just finished my school registration to go ahead and start the medical registration

The medical registration is needed to have a card so that I get to have access to meds whenever im ill

But a lot is needed for the registration and it's with a lot of candidates to be considered so whenever I try getting it, I get postponed till the next batch

One day I was so sick in school and had no money,I needed the card now to get meds but i'm yet to complete my registration so automatically I have no card.

I guess sometimes some things just happen and boom history and friendship are made.

My flatmate next door happens to be tending to his project with a course mate that very day, a kind of project that involves the use of cardboard gums, set square and all to form shapes

And they needed to borrow a set square from me. My flatmate sent his course mate to come to knock on my door to borrow a set square

I heard the knock at first but was too tired to open,the second time he knocked the reluctant me told whoever was there to come in

He came in and told me my flatmate ask him to come to borrow a set square,was too tired to stand up i told him to get it himself

He noticed how tired I was and ask what was wrong, i told him how sick I was

He then aks me to go use my card to get drugs from the school health care since we all have access to it.

As if I wouldn't have done that if I had the opportunity

I explained how hard it has been with getting that card and that was how he insisted on getting drugs for me from the school health care with his card

He Acted as if he was sick, went to school, submitted his card and came back with lots of drugs

I was surprised, asked him how he did that successfully and his reply was just "it was his pleasure helping out"

That was our first time seeing each other and he went extra mile for me

From there we bonded and ever since then we've been good friends and even share the same lodge now

Sometimes the first meet is when you know the friendship would last
