Many people have a desire to go to the past, and I think it's a common desire. Some people love to visit the past to correct their mistakes and sometimes want to go back to enjoy their childhood because it was the tension-free and happiest moments of life.
Although we have the desire to go back to the past, time travel is still a fantasy because it's still not possible even if we have so much advanced technology. According to science, there is a possibility of time traveling if we can achieve an equal velocity of light. It is impossible, and there are reasonable explanations for it. Still, we love to imagine things and explore our fantasy world. What if I can visit the past and change a historical event in my country?
Honestly, I don't like history too much, but because of the compulsory subject, I know quite well about the history of my country. Almost all of those historic events were mostly done when I wasn't born, and I didn't see those moments, and I didn't have any personal feelings about those histories. For some glorious histories, I feel proud, but I think those histories were like a story to me, and it would be better if I could be a part of those histories, and my feelings would be different in that case.
Maybe God heard my voice, and a few months ago I became a part of history, and I feel proud because of it. I think you were well aware of the student protest in Bangladesh, which was one of the largest student protests in my country. The protest was started for the unfair quota reform system, and it ended up stepping down of dictator X president and forcing him to fly away from the country. It was the second freedom of my country's people, as before we didn't have the freedom of speech. Now we are like free birds, and we can speak about any matter and share our opinions. It's really an amazing feeling, and I can't express how happy I was to know I got my freedom back. I was also part of the student protest, and I feel proud of it as it's a glorious achievement for my country.
It is unfortunate that many students lost their lives in the protest, and their sacrifice was not so little. The protest was peaceful, but the X government made it violent and illegally killed many innocent students. I also could die in the protest, but the police fired on us. I was lucky to be alive, but seeing some of my friends and juniors die in front of my eyes was very pathetic. I have never seen anyone die after being shot by bullets earlier before the protest, and I wish not to see that any time.
Although the historic event was glorious as students achieved victory at the end, the sacrifices were not so little. I would love to protect those students from dying by informing them of the risks and possible actions that are required to achieve victory where the sacrifice would be minimized. So I just want to go back a few months ago if possible.

I was there too brother. In that same movement. I too appreciate what we have. But if I stray away from the topic a little bit, sometimes I fear for what we have. there are so many going on, risky situations. But nonetheless, I appreciate your post. You've hit a nerve.
So you are from Bangladesh. I think it was very painful to see known people dying in front of eyes. I wish I could save them at least.
I am from Chittagong. Where are you from?
