I think whenever we are in trouble we receive help mysteriously and it means that God sends someone to help us all the time. That woman helped you without any selfish motive and I think because of such kind of people we think humanity still exists.
In my case if someone treated me badly, I naturally forgive him because I have not time to waste for revenge but I won't help him either if someday I can provide him help.
