Sensitive issues. But I respect your opinion but I disagree.
Do you think after reaching a certain age you will follow any religion? Keep in mind that it won't give you any financial profit and why someone would go for such a thing after crossing a period of our life without doing it. Secondly, it has a deep relation with our beliefs and religion seems mysterious as you don't see your god directly, and bringing faith after such matters after a certain time is nearly impossible as you will think scientifically for every case. Heaven and Hell inspire us to do good work and restrict doing bad work and if you don't believe in any god, you can be reckless and won't consider doing the wrong thing.
Again it's not right to force anyone to follow a religion because it's related to belief and forcing one may start to hate the religion. I think it's the same case for you. I am sorry if my words hurt you.
Honestly, I think I would, if I was given a reason why I should. It's the same thing I'm talking about, giving someone a good understanding or explanation as to why you think they should commit to something is way more better than them committing to that thing simply because their parents said so.
And no offence, but I don't agree with this.. I feel our morals are what keeps us in line and stops us from doing bad things. There are a lot of atheist out there who haven't committed a single crime in their lives before.
I honestly think knowing what's good and bad has absolutely nothing to do with religion. I mean if the stories are true, then Adam and Eve crossed that bridge when they took a bite from that apple 😂
