Hey fellow Hiveans. I've been off the grid for a while which is why those of you who follow me wouldn't have seen any content for a while.
The good news is that I'm back and have been giving some thought about what type of content to create that can add value to Hive and that I can enjoy creating. The purpose of this post is to talk about my content creation journey on Hive, to get some feedback from the Hive community on how to improve my content and what to write about.
So I've been on Hive for a couple of years and have been trying to figure out my audience and what sort of content resonates with people in general. I started off with blogging about Hip Hop, from my discovery and then my journey over the years.
Here's a few articles form a series of my journey into Hip Hop:
After consuming more and more content on Hive, I thought of taking a stab at creating some content on blockchain and crypto. I'm far from a subject matter expert in any area of crypto but what I realized is that your content doesn't have to be from an expert standpoint. There's so much you can write about. Some examples are the art contests and social media conquests for Splinterlands.
Other topics I've been writing about are AI, movie reviews, art, calisthenics, travel....

Lately just before taking a hiatus I felt really good about creating content around life philosophy. I found the process of creating this kind of content to be the most rewarding and fulfilling apart from life experiences.
A couple of posts on this topic are:

Now the reason for taking a break was partly because I lost a bit of motivation and also because I wanted to reflect on my content and see what my followers really value. I didn't want to blog just for the sake of blogging or for views and rewards. I wanted to have a more fulfilling and sustainable approach to content creation.
I hope that you folks reading this post could give me some feedback on my writing style and what content to further pursue, explore, or avoid. Please share your thoughts in the comments and I would greatly appreciate it.
Welcome back! Well, I think the kind of content you should create is totally up to you. Although, I will suggest that you explore the numerous options available on hive. Check out communities and you might actually develop interest in some new things.
I really hope you figure it all out.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll definitely check out more communities and engage with them.
Alright, enjoyyy
