Asslamoalekum and hello to my #hivelearners community. I hope you are all doing well. I am also doing pretty well. When I read the topic " work place burnout" I thought to write about this topic. It is an interesting topic.
I will share my personal work place experience with you. I hope it will be an interesting and helping blog for you guys.
If you have chosen your career as a job holder then you should be ready to endure hardships and frustrations in life. If you are a jobber you have to tackle the problems with an art. Your colleagues, your boss, your work load will always give you stress but you have to find the ways to tackle these problems. In this world no one cares for anyone. You have to fight your own war in life. You can see everything going smoothly at workplaces in TVs dramas snd movies but in real life it is completely opposite. What I do in a hectic job atmosphere?
I always tried to make my work place an enjoyable place for me. You know how? I try to find the ways of enjoyment on my workplace. For example at my work place, in the break time I play different kinds of indoor games like caram board and cards etc to refresh myself. I don't expect from anyone at my work place because if expectations goes wrong we get upset. I try to adjust myself in every kind of people. I think if you want ideal environment at your work place then you are living in the world of foolish people. I have made a routine of walking in the evening time. Because I think exercise or walk releases your stress and anxiety. In a day you should give at least one hour to yourself for an outdoor activity like exercise, gym or walk etc. If you will do so you will start feeling better. Sometimes we over react on a situation at our workplace. It is a saying of my mentor wasif Ali wasif "You are worried by your thoughts, not your circumstances". Snother thing I noticed from my experience that if you share your worries with your colleagues and work fellows , they will make fun of you. You should only dhare your problems with your loved ones means your family members or your close friends. If you want to make your workplace easier than you have to understand the phychy of your boss. You have to trace out what your boss wants from you. Mostly bosses like yes man. So if they want yes from you then you should always come up with his expectations. Another way to find out relaxation to give sometime to your hobby. For example if you like music, you should sing at your leisure time. If you like to play or watch any game do give time to play or watch that particular game. By doing so you will feel pretty much relaxed. I like to sing songs. So whenever I get bored I release my stress by singing my favourite songs.
So you can also use these techniques to release your stress and workplace tensions.
