Something called value added tax just comes to mind, this is why some things vary in prices in other countries. A friend migrated to the UK lately and wanted to get some crocks slipon, bro was told it was worth a lot more than he ll get in in Nigeria. To some extent the way things are valued depends on the general cost of production and the other benefits gotten along side. If you get AC while taking coke, you ll have to pay for the light bills as well. Same applies btw taxi and Uber in Lagos.
Add value to yourself and watch ppl pay for it. Don't be stagnant
