True, there are red flags but, suffice to say that majority of partners have red flags and for how long would we test grounds to see the few without one. Yet, some say marry or live with the one that ain't too toxic, believing everyone has a side the partner would hate.
But you're right, identify red flags but match compatibility and if it's a green, carry the cross of the other flags.
Pity for your friend. I appreciate your counsel on being financially independent. Nothing is promised, even the man is not promised even when he appears to be there physically while some would not even show up physically, financially, emotionally and in all sense.
