Well, I like to be further modest by saying I was lucky, I have been lucky, although, some aspect of creativity and resilience when it mattered, but like you've mentioned. I tend to stick to my onions and try out different things. Audience matters a lot to me as well. So I think I try as much as possible to put it into consideration whenever I'm creating.
Thanks for analysing the non-metrical aspect of the reputation as this is what I tend to focus on, even if the upvotes are what have brought the real-time value of the reputation.
