In reality I think there are certain people we'd expect to treat us better, but then they don't, and we're disappointed and unfortunately the relationship you have with them is completely severed simply because you expected better, and then there are strangers out of nowhere who do better. It's life, honestly. For me, I just do all I can and expect nothing.

That's a raw truth, lowering our expectations is the way to go, t too avoid feeling hurt unnecessarily.
