All you have written here is nothing but the truth, the pure truth. This generation is trying to form woke by saying they will not flog their children, when I think back, the beating and discipline my parents gave me made me who I am today. When I was younger, anytime I get beaten, I pack up my bags and say I want to leave the house. Now I just laugh when I think about it😂😂😂😂. I think contentment and discipline have a big role to play in the lives of youth of this generation, I am an introvert too and whenever people try to convince to go out; I say ‘outside is expensive’.

lol, you think like me, the outside world is super expensive, let us stay indoor and save our money..... and you are also right, lack of discipline is among the cause of increase in crime rate by youth in the society, spare the rod, spoil the child, unfortunately it is no longer a case of spare the rod because the rod has been banned in most countries!
