If you could pull the strings, would you relocate from your country to another? A beautiful country that stands out, and one that you've always wanted to visit. But it's not just about visiting; you've always wanted to relocate there permanently. Considering the situation in my country, if I had the opportunity to travel to another country with better living conditions, I would grab it with both hands. In fact, even if the means of transportation were to travel on one of those witch's brooms, I'd still grab it with both hands. You see, it's not about unpatriotism; it's gone far beyond that. I'm pretty sure the majority of people from my country would make the same decision if presented with that opportunity. Imagine someone offered to help you relocate to any country of your choice, with accommodation, food, work, and every other detail taken care of. I'm certain more than 70% of people from my country would see this as a golden opportunity that they'd never miss. For today's edition of Hive Learners' Prompts, we are asked to share what we know about any country at all.
When I saw this topic, the first country that came to my mind was Japan. Japan is my dream country and I have always wanted to travel there for as long as I can remember. Anime made me fall in love with Japan, but as time went on, I discovered more interesting things about the country; from their language to dressing, parks, food, music, and more, I've come to love the country more. However, for this prompt, I didn't want to write about Japan because I had written about it many times in the past. After reflecting on the topic for minutes, I finally settled on one- Brazil! When it comes to the list of countries I’d like to visit, Brazil makes the top 4. In this post, I'll discuss everything I know about one of my favorite countries, Brazil.
Recently, @kaibagt and I had an interesting conversation about Brazil in Neoxian City Discord channel. Thanks to him, I learnt a few new things about that country. When I hear, “Brazil,” the first thing that comes to my mind is football. Brazil is home to many football legends. It is interesting how different countries are known for their exceptional talents in various fields. India is known for cricket, the United States is known for basketball, Jamaica is known for sprinting, Kenya is known for long-distance running, China is known for martial arts, and Brazil is known for football. When it comes to football, Brazilians are naturally talented. Right from when they are small, they start showing their skills on the field. Brazilian women are also good at football. Instagram is loaded with many reels of Brazilian women and kids showing their football skills, and those videos always leave me in awe. Most of the best footballers in history are from Brazil. Talk about Pele, Ronaldo, and some other ones. The Brazilian football team has won the World Cup a record of 5 times (more than any other country.)
Brazil is also known for its rich and interesting festivals. Festivals are an important part of their culture. You see them come out, dressed in beautiful traditional attires. Their dance complements their dress. Brazilian culture has to be one of the most interesting cultures in the world. I have never been to their festivals, but with the videos I have seen online and the one @kaibagt shared with me, it is evident that the festivals are always swarming with millions of people from all around the world. Thanks to my friend, I found out that Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro are the biggest cities in Brazil, and considering the population, festivals there are always heated. According to my research, the biggest festival in Brazil is the Rio de Janeiro Carnaval, attracting millions of visitors every year.
While surfing the internet this morning, I came across something interesting about Brazil- “Brazilian prisoners are allowed to reduce their sentence by four days for every book they read.” I read that the program is called Remição pela Leitura. After reading the book, they must write a short essay or take a multiple-choice test question to show that they truly read the book. So approximately, 92 books would need to be read to reduce a sentence by 1 year. I don’t know if this is also practiced in other countries, it seems unique and interesting.
Finally, if I had the opportunity, I’d relocate to Brazil.
Thanks for reading.

Brazil looks like a fun country to live in, well from the far. I don't know much about their internal politics or anything.
But Samba, who doesn't know this? Thanks for sharing some small information about Brazil, like the punishment reduction of prisoners.
I also didn't know that the punishment reduction was a thing until I read about it that morning. I'm glad you learnt a few things from my post.
Thanks for stopping by.
Excellent text, people from all over the world really come to participate in the "carnival" here, the amount of people who come here to learn about the event is huge, just complementing the information about the reduction of sentences, so, in short, it is a law that was approved that the prisoner has the right to reduce his sentence by 4 days for each book he reads, but limited to a maximum of 12 books per year, that is, he can reduce 48 days per year. This was created to encourage reading and seek to "resocialize" the prisoner.
Very happy to love Brazil!

Hello friend 👋🏻
To be honest I could say the same about scaping from the country where I'm living for national circumstances, but traveling and be a nomad has been my child dream ever! So I can't blame the situation 😅
Once again I can relate with you on your desire for teletransporting and Japan's love 😍 on school I learned katakana by a partner who lived there few years, my teenage dairy was written in katakana but Spanish words because I don't know japanese 😁
Tell me about Hive learning prompt please, what is it? I'm trying to learn
Hello there, my friend. How have you been?
It is sad that my country's economy is going down the drain and no one is doing anything about it. This is the world we live in now.
Are you on Discord? It'd be easier to tell you about these things there.
Yes, I'm on Discord as @otranatmas too
Brazil is also on my list of favorites because I have loved Brazilian footballers since I was a child. I also dream of going to Brazil one day, and seeing everything there will do to calm my mind. However, I did not know about reducing the length of imprisonment by having prisoners read books. This is undoubtedly a wonderful initiative and if other countries practice this, the crime rate will undoubtedly decrease.
Brazil is a great country. Thanks to Kaibagt who enlightened me about the beauties of the country. I hope to visit there soon.
Thanks for stopping by.
Brazil is a huge and very interesting country, its diversity is very impressive, and I can tell you that its gastronomic culture as well. What most appreciate their colorful carnivals are crazy. The floats and all the preparation that puts it to that. It is incredible. But it would only be a country to visit only, I find the way of being of its people too strong and I don't think I can adapt. However, your choice has been good.
Brazilians are known for their colorful and vibrant carnivals. I watched a video on YouTube and I was shocked to see that thousands of people attending one of their carnivals, dancing, singing and laughing.
Brazil is a wonderful place, a warm culture both in climate and people, it is a wonderful country, with its beaches and its constant heat.
Indeed, Brazil is a wonderful country. What's your favourite country?
Germany
I loved learning about the country's rich culture, most especially how they are passionate about football and their football fans too.
Thanks for sharing.

When it comes to football, Brazilians are naturally gifted.

Brazil is a rich and beautiful country and I'm glad you agree with me. When it comes to football, they are naturally gifted.
